Mark This is a 12 fret gtr that came with a square neck for slide playing. That has been converted to a round neck & set up for user friendly playing by myself. It's the most powerful mahogany gtr on the planet. It's 5 1/8 inchs deep on the but,,a standard Dred,,is 4 7/8. Chris had to hold back playing this song just to be able to sing over it. Dan Lashbrook
Yes indeed. Chris had to hold back on the playing while singing. This gtr is 51/8 inch deep on the body depth, A Martin dread is 4 7/8 inch deep on the body depth. You can hear the extra depth on this. Chris gets a superb tone on this old Regal.
This was a natural top the owner in Seattle had the burst done & the square neck made round,,we did the set up on it. Also a 5 1/4 inch deep body from the factory,,gives it the depth you hear.
A new favorite. I smile everytime. Chris's playing/singing and the tone of that guitar are exceptional. Great audio, too, of course. Thanks!
Very nice singing and guitar's tone.
I love the way Chris makes this Regal talk!!! Great Job........
Killer! Loved it. You got folk soul bro
Great guitar, great song, great player. Thanks for sharing it.
Great performance. Brilliant guitar work. The HD video looks fantastic.
Never heard a Regal guitar like this one before. Truly an exceptional example of a good classic pre-war guitar.
Beautiful job playing................

Great picking. Enjoyed it
Well, like all the other Regals on your page, it sounds great!
Sure is a great guitar like everyone seems to be saying.
But let me add that Chris Sharp is an awesome picker, too.
Love that run from 2:12 to 2:42.
This is a mid-'30s Regal ,, they were mostly known for making dobro's. Also they made Washburn.
Looks like a Gibson-style sunburst refinish. Done a long time ago?
That ax is a canon
BixLives32,,,The body is a 5 1/4 inch deep box,, age on a body that deep makes for an exceptional guitar. Thanks
I would like to know what all the chords are also.
