He IS country !! When I look at him at times I feel sorry for him. Let me explain. His Daddy was a wonderful singer we know the story behind him. No matter what was said about Hank Williams we loved him for his music but Hank Junior lost his Daddy. Then Hank JR. was told what to sing for a while. He lived on the memories that people shared about his daddy. Then he decided to be himself and wow!!!!! He is my favorite Country artist and I wish he could read this. God Bless you, Hank.
I'm hoping and praying Bocephus is ok. He hadn't been looking well the last few times I saw him and then he lost his precious daughter Katie this year. I hope he's ok.

He should have got entertainer of the year for 20 year's . he is a hell of a lot better than Garth Brooks . what he sings is real and how he lives is real.
I remember one time sitting @ the Kitchen Table. I told Dave my Mom was a Potatoe farmer from up in Maine. He gave me a 50lb bag of Red Potatoes... He was a bigger-than-life, this guy. At least I got what little bit of time to spend with him ... 🤔
The greatest banjo player of all time, Bela Fleck, pretending to sing at 5:36 is cracking me up. I'm not saying he can't sing, I just have never heard him sing in my entire life. If you don't know who Bela Fleck is then do yourself a favor and check him out. He is incredible!

Honestly, I'm not sure either. I know Hank scaled bank his touring in the early 90s. He had two little kids at home and I don't think being in the limelight was as important. Plus he had a couple of albums in the 90s that honestly wasn't his greatest work. But he's still one of the best in my eyes.
