I listened to some popular oldies recordings & critically assessed these young men, putting all previous groups in the lowest position of expertise! Their control is perfection! Besides their obvious union & humor they are to my mind the most inspirational entertainers, EVER!!!
I am nearly 80, and in love with all of them, their looks, their charm and their gorgeous music! I'm not a musician, but I've always loved beautiful music, and theirs is some of the best I've ever heard. (And I've been married for 53 years to a handsome Sicililian.)
I think, no one is better than the other, the 3 of them are the best, Gianluca won the contest with his velvety voice, who ever put the three together is a genious, I love the strong voice of Piero and the high notes from Ignacio, I love IL VOLO!!!!

they really have wonderful voices and their voices compliment each other. their solo performances are not really that appealing to me but when they sing together, its like ... woah heaven to me, very soothing, very uplifting, you will forget all your stress and problems.
They are the best to happen to music. You just feel great listening to them. Been following them for over a year and they do not disappoint. Their albums are great and there is a good selection on You Tube. Enjoy them

I'm 61. I watched the PBS special by accident this spring. Gianluca had me at the first Gira il mondo gira! I was shocked when I saw the video at the Arena di Verona at the beginning of June. They had all changed so much. So, I booked tickets for the Phoenix concert 9/26/12, and was able to get an upgrade to meet them. And I am so excited! Like some lovesick puppy!! I have been following the tour closely, checking Tweets, Facebook, and occasionally Tumblr as well as the fan videos here!
Hi VCVALDEZ. I was also born in 1941. And am absolutely crazy over IL VOLO. I watch their PBS Detroit Opera House special every time it is on. I went to their concert last summer in Rochester, Mi.. I play their music on TH-cam every morning. My favorite is Piero, I think he has an amazing voice for such a young man. I think all of them are wonderful. I think part of their appeal is because they sing wonderful music (not junk) and they seem like such nice young men.
Just can't get enough of their singing. When the three sing together they blend as one.Hope they make many more CDs. Plus DVDs. I'm one fan of Ilvovo That has not heard music like theirs. I've been around 75 yrs. Love ya fellows.

These young men have a long career ahead of them. We just ask the Heavenly Father to look after them and bless them, that they keep their humbleness, and remain thankful. Oh, I agree, (Gianluca) does look like Dean Martin, but type in Paul Anka...(when he was younger) the resemblance. is amazing.

I am amazed by their talent, as a teenager watching fellow teenagers, I really admire and as an aspiring singer, I look up to them, they have so much ahead of them, They break the rules of the typical teenage audience, they will stand out, for not being the next Backstreet boys, one direction and etc. Their voice can be admired by all ages. Hopefully someday I could see them perform in real life! But WOW- God Bless you three

Have been playing their new CD over and over, just can't get enough of "my boys"! (grin), even my husband has been very impressed with their voices! I am a 67 yr. old grandmother of 7, and listening to them makes me feel very young again! Thank you Il Volo for your special talents. Stay humble! God has given you to the world for a very special purpose! Love from one of your many fans!

Gianluca looks so much like Dean Martin, when he was a young man. He also was an Italian who was born(I think) here in America. He's passed on now.
