Magnificent sounding. I watch these instruments made, and think what chance do I have of making anything like even these relatively simple instruments. I have wood and metals working skills, but it looks daunting when you see masters at work. So much catching up to do....
Magnificent. And I'm still having fun with the Sturdy Gurdy and the Birdy Gurdy. (Who would have thought that a certain French musician would have preferred the former to the latter for concert purposes?)
I’m not taking orders as such because that soon results in a huge waiting list. I am still busy building for fun,my current obsession is for glass fibre lute backs which are fine indeed and have two finished but I don’t need to actively sell them.
@@nwbrook I suppose neil, old habits die hard ! Keep up the good work, you were and are a pioneer in the art of hurdy making etc..live long and prosper!
Looking good and sounds beautiful ❤
Nice to se Neil is still tinkering. Good job sir!
It is LOUD indeed... and I love it ❤

Wow! Outstanding!!!
It sounds good. The sound seems to be more full. Less thin. Nice job.

I love the sound of this Hurdy Gurdy.

Neil is thought you'd retired! Are you still making hurdys commercially then?
