Very nice job. Hopefully you get great use out of it my friend for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge on. Keep making. God bless.
@@brittinghammerforge9441 you will always have people love and hate your videos. I always try to stay positive no matter what. It's always good to see how people do things in different ways.
I would definitely say in my expert opinion to your question at 5:10, 100% gorilla glue would do the trick. Wouldn’t even need to weld it. Also, just shove some bondo and JB Weld on that horn and it will fix it right up. You can thank me later.
I ended up finding a forklift Tyne and welding it to it instead. I was worried the horn would crack when I would go to quench it. It looks sweet now. You will see it in one of the next videos I make. I was planning on digging a hole in the ground and hooking a pipe to a leaf blower to heat it up before I found the Tyne.
So cool! My kids loved watching.
nice shop

Glad you liked it. I was worried that welding up an anvil wouldn’t be that interesting.

@@brittinghammerforge9441 we spent most of the day yesterday getting the garden in shape. Very busy time of year.
@@MadebyKourmoulis I agree
@@brittinghammerforge9441 it would also seem the garden this year is much more important than in past years.

Ive heard the a crack in an anvil is not very good, would the "void" / seem not serve as a giant crack down the middle?
It is working quite well. It doesn’t seem to be an issue. I also added a plate on top. It was the affordable option for me.
What size was the circle diameter of the plate and thickness
I’ll get back to you on the diameter when I get home from work. Pretty sure it was 2.5” thick.
15”diameter
