When I saw MAD STOMP's usage of Chainsaw do so little damage, I didn't actually think it would be viable when used by the player. But damn, was I wrong.
@@dr.richarddicknificentm.d.5532 It's nice but it doesn't gel with any of my current builds. You have to capitalize on ACS overloads with it otherwise it does really poor damage. It's the sort of weapon that needs considerable set-up to really shine.

I just tried a build like this for the Coral convergence S-Rank last night and couldn't believe the chainsaw either, that thing does so much damage it's insane.
@@silversnow-gamingchannel The chests and battle logs: there are the Toybox mechs on the laser grid platforms (one on the top one, and a yellow one on the second one), then on the second platform go all the way to the right onto a large metal crane section (as if facing the objective) and there is a chest. Next kill the enemy that makes a shield near the indoor laser section, and in the indoor laser section there is a chest in the middle. Beat Honest Brute and you've got all the stuff.

I just spent hours figuring out and trying to kill this boss. At the end I managed to kill him just to open youtube to see this. I was thinking to myself that I am actually good at the game but this is such a reality check and slap across the face for me. lol
There is good, and then there is God-like. Don't see this video as an indication that you're not good at the game. Look at it as evidence that you can still improve.
Don't worry, skill had very little to do with this. Going double Zimmerman does. Switching to a melee weapon when an enemy / boss is staggered to do massive damage isn't exactly hard. Getting the stagger should be the hard part which dual Zimmermans just trivialize. I don't want to take anything away from ONGBAL, he has incredible skills as he has showcased time and time again. But in this specific case we can all get extremely close to pulling this off with the same loadout.
my strategy for the first phase initially was this: immediately start charging coral "missiles" on a shoulder (as in, I used only one), then start off going forward and dodging iguazu's beam then immediately use the coral oscillator's charged attack. this kills most of the minions and almost staggers iguazu. release the coral missiles moments before landing the shot that staggers him, to ensure that they hit. they will take more than half his health. repeat the same strategy another time to finish him. but, ultimately I've kinda-cheesed this fight using two gatling guns (the big ones) and two needle launchers. I did still risk dying in the end though. I refused using zimmermanns since they're OP.
Yeah, I'm guessing that's part of why she used a different mech to support you, the Ayre boss mech was already being used by Allmind. They have similar fighting styles too. Allmind's version uses green blades instead of Coral Red ones.
I thought igauzu is saying the noise is ALLMIND, while playing the nth times this awesome play, i realise he is pointing to Arya. This is pretty surprising, i need to rewatch all igauzu fights now
It's actually insane. It has the highest direct damage multiplier in the game. Against staggered enemies it does on par damage with the pilebunker but easier to hit. Its animation does have a tendency to whiff tho if you're too close to the enemy

All you need is the Soup launchers and the hand-held swarm launchers pared with the finest middle tracking FCS on a “forever flight” AC chassis. (Completed this and poor G5, Ayre and Walter couldn’t hit me.)

Judging by the last 2 titles an armored core [title with a pun on 6] could release and continue the story from one of the endings and act as a standalone expansion or they do AC7 and it's a completely new setting. If they go the first route it's likely that players are able to take their owned parts or mech into the new game. SPOILER ALERT FOR THE FIRST ENDING: I'd prefer if they go with the second route though. I like the different endings and if they were to continue the story 2 endings turn out to be wrong, though the Fires of Raven ending could provide a setting where humanity still comes back to Rubicon, because of Coral. The Fires of Ibis couldn't kill all humans and coral. Why should the Fires of Raven be able to do it? It goes a little against what is said in that ending, but i see it being vague enough to still make sense.
I couldn't do this. I tried so hard, but in the end, it didn't even matter. The trash mobs around the boss made it so hard for me to keep up momentum (or stop on a dime) and i could only stagger the boss like 1/5th of the time the first time. Ended up using my trusty ROCKET POWER build with full rocket tracking FCS, 10 on my shoulder, double 4-bangers on my hands, and electric needle. Beat it with that second try playing keep away and focusing all fire to the boss, ignoring all adds. I'm gonna go lie down.
I find it really funny that after ALLMIND's defeat the player still ends up completing her goal anyways. If only if she wasn't such a controle freak, she'd have been able to see things through to the very end.
Hearing Iguazu again, as final boss aswell, pissed me off so much. I legit can't like that ending just because of iguazu, he is the most miserable character in the game + decided to go full edgy for the final with spamming claws attacks

We get the parts from the Alba used by Rusty in the fires ending as well. I wish we could've gotten the Ibis series with those awesome looking shoulders that house the drones.

Am i the only one who found the true ending boss easier than the other endings bosses? I almost killed him first try and got him on the second try.
Only reason I struggled was because I would clear out all the other enemies first. Then I realized I can just go straight for the boss and skip them
I found Ibis on initial playthrough to be tougher than all three ending bosses.

I barely beat him with super heavy build before i almost did it with coral build but ran out of ammunition as i did with every fast boss in this game.
