Hey HW great walk! The grass really looks greener after all that rain. And your lunch looked delicious..... I could almost taste the beef! Not to mention your nectar, yum! Looked like a really nice time out after all those storms!
Thanks, HW....more memories flooding back. Cleveland Street is very familiar to me. I worked further down in Bourke Street for 13 years. I've spent many an hour walking the back streets of Surry Hills, Darlinghurst etc. and have also seen a show at the Seymour Centre. I love the non-touristy aspects of your videos.
Thanks Glen. Me too. I watch a lot of San Francisco (my 2nd fav city outside Sydney) vlogs and prefer the local non tourist places too. Whenever I see the tourist spots shown. I switch off. Cheers HW
Lovely wonder around. Hope you msde it home before rain. You forgot to mention that you can also visit on the weekend the Glebe markets on Glebe point road. Also top of same road has great water views and anz bridge. road. Where was that other nectar joint where you sat outback in court yard. I think in vid you caught light rail there. Well have lovely weekend.
Finally getting the chance to sit down and enjoy your video again, this time heavy hearted😢 about what has happened in beautiful Sydney! I had to laugh though cause you are like me, I never leave home without my hand sanitizer and use it after shaking hands also 😅. Thanks again HW and stay safe 🙏
Nice cafe & coffee looked good. I noticed a road sign to Rockdale but guess it’s not nearby, as I’d not heard of Victoria park. I visited my son who lived in Sydney for a year & he lived in rockdale. His apartment had a lovely view across the city, but sometimes I felt the aircraft were going to land in his living room!!
Yep when I left the park I was on City rd. City rd joins King Street which then becomes Princes Hwy. Princes Hwy will take you straight to Rockdale. You’re right as you head that way you start to enter the Airport approaches.
Hi HW, Loved the walk to Victoria Park, it was very peaceful. The lunch looked delicious, if only technology could let us smell how tasty it looked! Do you meet other people from different countries while on your walks? I was walking through the town centre and noticed an Australian man talking to his friends having a beer in a pub,, wearing work attire. Weather here in Yorkshire is another mild day with threatening rain, maybe, but that won't spoil my day. Thank you once again for a lovely video. 🙏
Absolutely. Sydney is a very multicultural city. I haven’t been to Yorkshire since I was staying in Leeds year 2000. What’s it like now? More or less people?
Yeh man that joint used to be located in York Street. I’ve been following it around for years. The beef curry and crispy chicken can’t be spilt. Both triumphs. Meanwhile still raining in Sydney. 😩
We heard about the horrible events in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺..on Saturday..it made the Canada 🇨🇦 news ..also saw it on TH-cam 9news! 😮😢😢😢😭😭 we are all saddened 😔 in Canada 🇨🇦..beautiful vid of parks ! 🌳
Yeh terrible news. Was my local mall for a good part of my life. My sister was up there shopping earlier and was due to go back to pickup a book she’d ordered. But the news diverted her. Lucky.
Thoroughly enjoyed this outing !
Thanks 🙏

True. Thanks for coming back. Dirty Red was the nectar shop in Glebe Point Rd. Glebe another Sydney gem is the video in question.

Yeh you don’t expect such terrible things like that to occur in Sydney. You noticed the hand sanitiser hey. Yes normally I’d extend the fist pump.

Hi HW, today is catching up with HW day. Hope you're well. That lunch looked fantastic and would have done me all day! On with the next one.

@@hwtours At least it keeps the grass green. Not long before our summer and I'm still trying to recover from almost two days with the sun out :)
It’s Songkran over the next few days in Thailand. Just wondering if anything is being planned in Thaitown area. Ta
I haven’t seen anything advertised. Not sure. If you find something let us know.
