Some of those stills look so lifelike I had to go back to see! This has to be some of the most amazing work I've seen in a very long time. Awesome job.
@Residentevil95721 Thanks for your inquiry, they were modified from standard radio control models purchased from a local model shop, slightly under scale but not enough to worry about.
That's a genuine 1/6th scale Loco, one of group members built it in around 8 weeks, it's not the only one in the collection either. Their shear size makes them pretty impressive and we're lucky to have them.
Hot damn! That's the absolute best modeling work I've ever seen in my life! I've been building models all my life. Wish I had your resources and talent.
my god! they are so real like..foir a moment i tot u were posting pictures of the soldiers...it's the first time i hv ever seen such models being displayed in perfection! pls share more...thanks a million!
I believe it was originally a radio control model which one of our group members converted to a more detailed static model. Glad you like the video, the scenes were great fun to do.
Words fail me, you are truly the best at what you do. The subject matter is fantastic, a real wealth. You guys are unbelievable ! Thankyou for sharing. I am so jelous ! I wish I could build like you !
Just wonderful! A seriously impressive collection shown off in beautifully composed dioramas and tremendously atmospheric pictures. Massive kudos, gents... definetely checking out your site.
2:34 this soviet unifor from period 41-43 year - in 43-45 year soviet soldiers heave another uniform . Заместь петлиц должны быть погоны !! on 2:44 right uniform. Any way great work !!
i really love your scenes, they are superb. after seeing that im starting up my own collection and gonna do a few of my own..you might have some compo lol. great stuff.
This is awesome! You are one cool modeler! I believe if the rics were in black &white and add a little more dirt and oil to the faces and hands, people might think it was taken during WW2! Really amazing.
I use what's called a "foot spike" it's a thin metal rod inserted up through the heel of the boot and runs up the back of the leg. When inserted into the ground it helps the figure stand in a more natural pose. The clothes are all made by Dragon Models and supplied with the figures.
That's pretty cool...you based the scene off of an existing historical photo...great attention to detail and sticking to historically acurate information. Thanks for the reply.
All the images and figures belong to members of our modelling group "Kampfgruppe von Abt", between a group of 4 of us we own well over 3000 figures and yes they worked out at nearly $50 each!
The themes are 1. The eagle has landed; Main theme 2. The bridge of Remagen; Main theme 3. Battle of britain; Luftwaffe march. Some ask where they can get these models. I'd suggest Toy soldier brigade and Monkey depot. Got four of these myself...
The figures are all produced by "Dragon Models Ltd" but most of the vehicles are scratch built, Dragon have introduced soft skin vehicles like the Kubelwagen, Schwimmwagen and Motorbike & Sidecar Combination.
For some reason, the music and the style of the photography reminds me a lot of Zeonic Front. Lol. Amazing modeling tho. Absolutely incredible work! I wish I could afford even one of those Armortek vehicles.
The Internet is a good source for figures, uniforms and basic field equipment, most of the larger vehicles are scratch built like the Train for example. The RC Tanks are purchased from Armortek who are based in England, it's a real mixture really.
King & Country figures are only 1/32nd scale all these figures and vehicles are 1/6th scale which is considerably bigger. The other plus side with this scale of figure is that the body is fully articulated so a range of poses is possible.
We don't actually play with these figures, they are mainly posed for the benefit of the photo shoot so we'd normally regard them as models. The vast majority of the vehicle have been scratch built by fellow members of our group.
If you Google "Monkey Depot" and "Toy Soldier Brigade" you'll find the websites of the two main suppliers we generally use. They are both based in the States.
wow, this is amazing. you must have put a lot of work into making this whole thing and whats the realy cool thing about this the fact it looks so realistic. how long did it take you?
They are pretty much all different, between our group members we have something in the region of 2000+ figures to call upon for one of our photoshoots.
Super Fotos. Eine sehr gute Darstellung. Gute Arbeit.
Some of those stills look so lifelike I had to go back to see! This has to be some of the most amazing work I've seen in a very long time. Awesome job.

Very nice and awesome.

heh. You don't play around when your playing around!
Love it!!!
All the vehicles in the scene are scratch built except for the Armortek Tiger Tank and even that was heavily customised.
UN Believable!!! Very cool

This is absolutely amazing. I have a smaller collection of 30+ dragon figures and this blows me away. This is so realistic! Congrats!
Remarkable. Some of the shots looked like actual war photos. Amazing work!
@AkinChOkO - It depends which Country you're in for specific dealers but eBay is always a good place to start, I get a lot of my kit through there.
I believe it was originally a radio control model which one of our group members converted to a more detailed static model. Glad you like the video, the scenes were great fun to do.

i really love your scenes, they are superb. after seeing that im starting up my own collection and gonna do a few of my own..you might have some compo lol. great stuff.
If I remember correctly the music is from "Bridge at Remagen" a great bit of music and a great film.
Absolutely fantastic, the time and effort that must of gone into this is beyond belief!
5stars easily!
We certainly did use that movie for a lot of reference for this diorama, especially the anti-aircraft gun emplacements.
This is awesome! You are one cool modeler! I believe if the rics were in black &white and add a little more dirt and oil to the faces and hands, people might think it was taken during WW2! Really amazing.
Holy shit 4:15! SO REAL! Amazing job my friend and awesome song at the end :)

I showed this vid to a colleague of mine, he was drooling a lot.
WOW. awsome work on the models. alot of detail was put into them. Some look as if they were real. I hope to some day get that detailed. good work

How ...you are! Very good.! Thanks for the showing of your models!
Menuda envy of collection! And often working with dioramas. And the spectacular aircraft.
Changed my mind.On a scale of 1-10, this is probably 1,927! Thanks for showing us what you got.;Its very very good.
I use what's called a "foot spike" it's a thin metal rod inserted up through the heel of the boot and runs up the back of the leg. When inserted into the ground it helps the figure stand in a more natural pose.

man thank you for this video man!!!wow!!! thank you!!!! very much gratefull to you sir!!!!
We sometimes use a small stand hidden inside the trousers, this helps achieve a more natural pose.
job well done man.we should be the one to thank you for sharing your treasures!
Excellent Work!
omg they're soo detailed.. cool comrade!
keep up the good work
Super!! Perfekt gemacht!! Great!!
Truly amazing work
Our Siebel Ferry shoot was based on an actual set of photographs showing a Tiger tank being ferried in such a manor, hard to imagine but it is true.
Great job! My 7 year old thinks they are real photos so there's a compliment!!!!
That's pretty cool...you based the scene off of an existing historical photo...great attention to detail and sticking to historically acurate information.
Thanks for the reply.
Amazing detail. Great job!
Good to see, no matter what the situation, they all had time for a shave this morning!
It really is 1/6th scale and pretty impressive, it was scratch built by one of our group members - Peter Shaw.
Very very nice work. That locomotive is impressive.
Awsome diorama and video though. Good work!
All the images and figures belong to members of our modelling group "Kampfgruppe von Abt", between a group of 4 of us we own well over 3000 figures and yes they worked out at nearly $50 each!
Thanks for all your positive comments, all the models shown here are indeed 1/6th scale.
Just impresive...
what a great work !
@samgillispwnage: I'm afraid not at the moment our collection consist of British, American and German figures. Belgian Soldier figures are quite rare.
simply amazing!!!!!Icant believe it!!!!.Greetings from Argentina!!!
Each of our modelling group members contribute to the building of each scene and help supply vehicles, figures and equipment.
An awesome 1/6 collection showcased here. Where's the music from that you used (particularly around 4:18)?
The themes are 1. The eagle has landed; Main theme 2. The bridge of Remagen; Main theme
3. Battle of britain; Luftwaffe march. Some ask where they can get these models. I'd suggest Toy soldier brigade and Monkey depot. Got four of these myself...
Most of the figures we use are from Dragon, we use the odd figure from DiD but not many.
Lol.

Great dioramas and the music is excellent. Have you ever seen Mark Hogancamps "Marwencol" ?
No 1/6th scale, as in the title. So each of these figures are 12" tall.
King & Country figures are only 1/32nd scale all these figures and vehicles are 1/6th scale which is considerably bigger. The other plus side with this scale of figure is that the body is fully articulated so a range of poses is possible.
Great stuff! Unbelievable realistic.
Best regards from Germany!
Awesome work- thanks for sharing!
Where do you buys the things ? So real, so perfect to make scnarios love it. Great job
Where did you get the vehicles, especially the Tiger and the Me 109E? This is fantastic!
We don't actually play with these figures, they are mainly posed for the benefit of the photo shoot so we'd normally regard them as models. The vast majority of the vehicle have been scratch built by fellow members of our group.
Wow you really made me stunned watching this. Feelt like watchinh ww2 in person :D
5/5 no doubt.
Quite simple really, they are real flames placed next to or behind the figures. We also used a smoke machine to add atmosphere.
The Uniforms are produced by "Dragon Models", they have produced a vast range over the past few years plus all the accessories to got with them.
Great work! Where did you find the drawings for the ferry?
that locomotive is amazing. i have a O guage (1/50 scale) train layout with locomotives of similar type, that one in 1/6th must be massive
Thanks for all the positive comments, very much appreciated.
If you Google "Monkey Depot" and "Toy Soldier Brigade" you'll find the websites of the two main suppliers we generally use. They are both based in the States.
really amazing did you make the man and clothes yourself or did you buy them readdy and you did plant them(prefect)in the landscape?
Congratulations! Full of details!
wow, this is amazing. you must have put a lot of work into making this whole thing and whats the realy cool thing about this the fact it looks so realistic. how long did it take you?
