I’m in Ohio and some of my guns (mostly shotguns and rifles) seem to rust easily while my glocks never have an issue. We don’t have crazy humidity but summers have some pretty sauna like days. How do you store your Henry?

For the OTIS cleaning video for the All weather 45-70 Govt, the bolt is not taken out before cleaning but here it is, any reason why? Can the cleaning not be done through the side port breech to muzzle? Thinking that saves having to remove that extractor and put it back, not to mention removing the lever.

45-70 chamber size is long enough to accomodate the bore brush. The other video was likely the .357 and that chamber is too short for the bore brush to fit through the loading gate.
