Magnificent work of art all around. Filming inside is not allowed. Carved marble is inside up, down, all 4 sides, and the floor has inlaid marble. Can spend a day or if you are an artist several days looking at each work of art. This is a temple, not a museum or disney land, dress appropriately like going to a church. I think if you are wearing shorts, they give a sheet of cloth to wrap around.
It is beautiful in every aspect; the interiors are also wonderful, no videos can be taken. It is truly a great experience if someone visits. They provide a scarf that you can wear if your clothing is not appropriate, and you must remove your shoes when entering the temple. It's a special place, I can only recommend it.

This temple is of one particular sect called BAPS ( Bochanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan). This temple is not representative of other temples in India, which look vastly different from this temple.
Wasn't there any free food or Prasad which is basically a small amount of food offering like a palm amount.....? Basically if the temple is this big I'd expect a big meal for people who come there.....
Yes a little bit of parsadam is good but I don't think any temple can provide food for all...If yes then they should do in india first
