Some of this has changed now. Meetings button is now Calendar, "Join" is an entirely different interface than the one shown, etc. Still a solid introduction, but make sure you are working in Teams alongside the video.
what would be the reason for "Schedule a meeting" button missing? Is that something that has to be enabled IT Admin? OR should it be available by default?
Hi sir. Do u provide training on phone call. ??? I am not able to understand how to use some features of Microsoft teams. I want to use it to provide live classes for my students. Kindly tell me if u provide training on the phone ??? My name is Yashpal Singh..
If you're wanting to better adopt Teams in your organization, then you might be interested in this tool that can integrate it into Windows Explorer. It allows you to create desktop shortcuts to Teams files, search through all your Teams data in one go, makes Teams accessible from VDI applications, and also allows your to open/save data from desktop/legacy applications straight into Teams. Pretty cool tool, blog post here: blog.iamcloud.com/cloud-drive-mapper-ms-teams-awesome
Hello ArnStar, you can download the deck from here onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=AB1F6521C597565A!144&ithint=file%2cpptx&app=PowerPoint&authkey=!AGLTpYf0qaIZerY
When the standard was released, it was originally intended by Steve Wilhite to be pronounced as JIF, but the hard G has surpassed it's use as it makes more sense due to it's acronym.
I preferred the live demo during the 2nd half of the video. There's a lot to cover. I'm just going to make a test team and play with it a little. Good video.
Why do they keep pronouncing '@mention' as 'at mention'. As in, 'you can at mention this person'. Isn't the whole deal of this that you don't actually need to pronounce the @, and simply say 'you can mention someone'?

Thank you for sharing Jason. Very handy. I will share this info and tips with my team.

Highly helpful.
Thank you. This might be the right thing for me.
Is it possible to enable people to join a Teams meeting via traditional phone/mobile; ie/ to dial in? If yes, how?
Anyone have a link to that deck that they were showing at the beginning?
Does MT have its own video chat or do you use an app to connect in? We currently use Zoom.
Can I download that slide deck?

Seems like a lot of the bots and apps are not available... Kayak is nowhere to be found for example
How is Wiki different from conversations?
Make sure the Admin has activated OneNote in the Site Settings for your account. Otherwise, you won't be given that choice.
Very useful
Is the slide deck available to download?

2:09 JIFS lol thumbs up if it's GIFS! :)
I wanted to turn the video off when I heard jif, but i decided not to judge so harshly.
Shut up!
No
Agreed. It's not Giraffe-ics Interchange Format...but that would be cool though

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ok
great information but unfortunately it's pronounced GIFF not JiFF and now I just don't know what to believe anymore.
He actually pronounced it correct correctly.

It's not Jraphics format…
Nah JIFs
It would have been better if you actually showed it instead of just pasting some text into the video.
How to make quite a good tool sound totally boring!
Thank you for the feedback, John. Any ideas on how to make it more engaging?
