- Bella Ramsey, Jodie Whittaker and the crew behind Time, a BBC TV drama set in a womens' prison, visit the BFI Southbank to talk about the show.
Written by multi-award-winning Jimmy McGovern (Broken, Cracker) and Helen Black (Life and Death in the Warehouse), Time series two is told from the perspective of three very different inmates. Arriving at a women’s prison on the same day, Orla (Whittaker), Abi (Lawrance) and Kelsey (Ramsey) are thrown together to face an unfamiliar world. But even with the ever-present threat of violence within the prison’s walls, they discover that a sense of community and shared understanding might still be possible.

Amazing series and a lovely, thoughtful panel. This is what British telly can do when decent, talented people are given the opportunity. Thank you.
Breathtaking from beginning to end. Thank you for creating such a meaningful drama.
beautiful and much needed series
They need to make more
I thought series 1 was fantastic. Really looking forward to watching series 2 ❤
I love Bella ❤
Congratulations for the winning!
What did Bella mean about not being able to talk about a role due to the SAG strikes?
hype is marketing which drives money to the production companies they are trying to inconvenience
Oh right! Thank you@@matt23012301
I've not watched that part of the panel yet, but I assume it was because they couldn't really talk about (i.e., promote) their American productions while the strike was ongoing.
I don't understand the British accent, only American😅
None of the 3 main characters doe which was a supprise
Spoilers.

I usually really like Jodie Whittaker two of my favourite films are Adult Life Skills and Journeyman but I watched the first episode of Time series 2 last night and the acting was atrocious and the writing wasn't much better and Bella Ramsey was the worst offender I couldn't make it throught The Last Of Us because her lack of skill, Is this the same team that worked of the first series with Sean Bean?
really? I feel like I had the exact opposite impression. They’re both very nuisance in their acting. To me it felt very raw and unrehearsed in a way that feels believable and true. I was very impressed by both of them and really enjoyed their performances.
I must have been watching the wrong program. Totally disagree with you on all fronts. I thought Jodie and Bella were just about the stand outs for me.
@@adrianaalvarez1910 Weird to watch something with an actress they did not like in it.
@adrianaalvarez1910
I suppose that's the thing it didn't feel believable to me it was almost over acting i was always super aware I was watching actors and didn't feel like real people I could invest in. Even though I liked series 1 I didn't feel it added anything to the British prison drama and I wouldn't rewatch the first serie anytime soon I'd rather revist Scum or Starred Up I only really watched series 2 because I thought it being about woman it would be have something different about it and like I've previously mentioned I'm usually a big fan of Jodie Whittaker
you must have watched it with your eyed closed or something
