As soon as Angel snatched up Gaby at the Hospital I knew one of those Reyes bros were going to have to kill her , then when she was talking to EZ and said “that man was my friend” I knew she nailed her coffin , from season 1 to now EZ Reyes was a character who you felt had a good heart and you could empathize with , now he is a cold blooded killer , I started to feel different about EZ when he attacked YUMA and almost killed Concha son , he is willing to do anything for the club even if it means to kill innocents , he is no different than Galindo or his Dad , he can’t hide the Evil anymore , he owns it now
My goodness I knew it was coming with Gabby but damn!!!! Pops is going to really be crushed because he though he has saved her. Ez has always been dark he’s just finally really embracing it. His dad mentioned how they were kids that when his dog died he was able to deal with it and handle it when Angel could not. Bishop is just getting tiring at this point. I hope he doesn’t kill Padrino or vice versa but that maybe what needs to happen. Creepers girlfriend is asking too many questions still don’t trust her. Now onto Manny he always disappears and show up at the right time, idk maybe he’s just lucky. Still patiently waiting for the reveal that Miguel,Ez and Angel being brothers. I actually thought Gabby would come back and announce she was pregnant. Kudos to Sulem Calderon on her acting and keeping the end of her character a secret through all her interviews. Felt bad for Gabby, she was EZ's only redeeming quality.

I don't know. I'm kinda sad to see them turn everything around this way, this late in the series. It seems like the first 2 or 3 seasons were meaningless. Like they decided to trash the show. It's too easy to take a good guy trying to do the right things, then showrunners just say fu ck it. They ditched the pregnancy (nails), they ditch Coco, making his ordeal in last season a complete waste, they ditch the civil war that was imminent in last season finale. The writers took the easy way out. Fuck all plots, restart and just give the fans Sons vs Mayans. Create a huge event that gets a lot of attention like making everyone bad. So they kill the true love relationship with Eazy and not only that, make her want him back and tell him she loves him, then kill her. I'm sorry, but that DID NOT need to happen. She wasn't even in the story anymore. Then make Angel look like a complete dumba ss by coming home to nails and play dumb like he can't tell she aint pregnant anymore. They could have given her to the other dude, or at least made her have the baby and compete with the his other son and baby mamma. But instead they just kill the kid and make nails leave. What the hell was the point of the whole pregnancy thing? another plot killed. I won't get started on Coco. They really created a good story for him and his girl. Now wasted. Disney wanted a more toned-down Mayans Inc with dumb-down storylines and this is what we know get. A waist of time on Coco's and Gaby's storyline. EZ killing Gaby (the woman who saved his life last season after almost breeding to death) will cause fans to no longer care is EZ's is killed off. He was suppose to be the somewhat moral compass. It's now that Miguel is more valuable to this (or what's left of it) than EZ.
Well, they really should have made the show like this season, we did not want to see Cartels and Politics of Santo Padre. Coco's story with season three was the dumbest idea ever and then they have the nerve to just kill him off when in fact he was a fan favorite. And I disagree with you abouy the Nails thing. If her hooking up with Hank is their idea of a plot twist then their message would be that bikers like him being mostly the silent type, lack self-respect. Who wants to be sloppy seconds of a rebound? Personally, I don't like Nails very much nor do I have much respect for Adelita. I got really pissed when they made a love scene between Angel and Letty. Geez, if you couldn't degrade her character even more....
If Gaby knew that Ez would blow her head off, instead of rushing him to the hospital, she would have got out that truck a ran as far away from EZ when was ambushed and almost bleed out last season.

No coming back from it but it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to die. Jax died bc of what he did while looking for Tara’s killer. EZ was “Tara’s” killer.
This season has been all out so far, episode 5 had the biggest death, episode 6 had another big death, and now episode 7 had the most shocking moment 💔 I hope EZ survives the show, but now it's unclear of his fate by the end
EZ is as good as dead which sucks. He killed an innocent woman AND he went after a son's president. There's no coming back from either of those mistakes.
The lady on the motorcycle that was trying to kill Miguel Galindo after the car blew up is El Banquero's personal assassin. She was also present and in the room when Canche had to meet up with El Banquero to sort out the issue of his accountant being killed by Angel and Manny, which obviously didn't go so well considering that he shot the TV and looked like he was about to murder Canche and the other guy with him if they didn't leave immediately lol

Also killing a member of the SoA in the raid against the VMs. When Taza confessed to him what he had done, he should have killed him. But since he didn't kill him, he should have spoken to Alvarez. Instead he has shown that he is not able to manage a charter. He was fooled, and because of him as well as because of Taza the Mayans are in a terrible mess.
I just watched the mid-season finale of Better Call Saul and then this episode of Mayans. There is no way that I would have seen what I saw in the deaths on those shows and feel like everything changes. You could argue that you know with BCS, but with Mayans, I cannot say that this is something I would have thought was possible. I felt surprised by Gabby's death probably because she was the least likely to die. She became a victim in more ways than one. It was the same with the character with BCS, and what their shows will become will be so profound in me, I don't know if I can look at the both of them the same or not. Like the shows before them, I had no idea what would happen and what effect they had on me. That's show business for ya.
This reminds me of a similar scene in Sicario. When Emily Blunt’s character told the CIA squad she was gonna inform on their secret mission. In what world would a sane person be sitting in a dark field with heavily armed men and say “I’m gonna tell on the criminal crap you just did”? I don’t think so.
I'd like to see Bishop redeem himself but I think you're right - he may be too far gone. I'm still on the fence with Manny. I don't know why but he just seems too good to be true. He's too loyal to EZ, always siding with him and willing to ride or die for him and his shitty plans. I think he has ulterior motives. Hopefully I'm wrong. We shall see.
people need to stop trying to compare EZ and Jax. jax wanted the sons to go legit, his problems were his anger with clay, not realizing how hard it would be to get out of the guns and the outlaw game. even his downfall in the last season, it was kicked off over tara's death, which he was totally lied to about. at first jax would never kill unless he was forced or had a damn good reason. the problem with this show is basically you have before sutter left and after he left, the show just gets so damn different after he got fired. james just started making EZ into a killer outta nowhere and there was little build up to he, he just went full gangster

Gabby's death was dumb imo and purely written in for shock value-which it achieved I guess for some people but as soon as I saw her on screen this episode I knew they were gonna kill her. This show sucks without Kurt Sutter.
You have a good point and while I do think shock value was part of the reason for her death I think it was done for more than just that. I think it was also partly to show EZ becoming more ruthless and taking control. We already saw him punch Bishop for disrespecting him and push Alvarez into a war with the sons. Killing Gaby was just another step in the direction of him becoming more powerful and ruthless.

I agree!!! I can’t stand when a show is predictable but at this point I’m just gonna see what they do with it. I told my friend the other day that a good majority of these events should have already happened in earlier seasons. The way they did CoCo was trash, I was thinking they would Kill Angel to make Ez go down this dark path but nope. Emily is just floating in the background they should have just killed her off last season. I agree Creeper new gf is definitely a setup,asking about how he got every one of his scars smh . I love your thoughts on Alvarez And Ez would be interesting to see that play out !!

Disney wanted a more toned-down Mayans Inc with dumb-down storylines and this is what we know get. A waist of time on Coco's and Gaby's storyline.
EZ killing Gaby (the woman who saved his life last season after almost breeding to death) will cause fans to no longer care is EZ's is killed off. He was suppose to be the somewhat moral compass.
It's now that Miguel is more valuable to this (or what's left of it) than EZ.

Coco's story with season three was the dumbest idea ever and then they have the nerve to just kill him off when in fact he was a fan favorite.
And I disagree with you abouy the Nails thing. If her hooking up with Hank is their idea of a plot twist then their message would be that bikers like him being mostly the silent type, lack self-respect.

I got really pissed when they made a love scene between Angel and Letty. Geez, if you couldn't degrade her character even more....
If Gaby knew that Ez would blow her head off, instead of rushing him to the hospital, she would have got out that truck a ran as far away from EZ when was ambushed and almost bleed out last season.

This season has been all out so far, episode 5 had the biggest death, episode 6 had another big death, and now episode 7 had the most shocking moment 💔

The lady on the motorcycle that was trying to kill Miguel Galindo after the car blew up is El Banquero's personal assassin. She was also present and in the room when Canche had to meet up with El Banquero to sort out the issue of his accountant being killed by Angel and Manny, which obviously didn't go so well considering that he shot the TV and looked like he was about to murder Canche and the other guy with him if they didn't leave immediately lol
She’s also the one who killed Juan Denver. She’s one creepy looking chick for real.

Also killing a member of the SoA in the raid against the VMs. When Taza confessed to him what he had done, he should have killed him. But since he didn't kill him, he should have spoken to Alvarez. Instead he has shown that he is not able to manage a charter. He was fooled, and because of him as well as because of Taza the Mayans are in a terrible mess.

I just watched the mid-season finale of Better Call Saul and then this episode of Mayans. There is no way that I would have seen what I saw in the deaths on those shows and feel like everything changes. You could argue that you know with BCS, but with Mayans, I cannot say that this is something I would have thought was possible. I felt surprised by Gabby's death probably because she was the least likely to die. She became a victim in more ways than one. It was the same with the character with BCS, and what their shows will become will be so profound in me, I don't know if I can look at the both of them the same or not. Like the shows before them, I had no idea what would happen and what effect they had on me. That's show business for ya.
I gotta watch BCS still! I watched BB, top 3 show of all time for me. Haven’t seen BCS yet though.

I'd like to see Bishop redeem himself but I think you're right - he may be too far gone. I'm still on the fence with Manny. I don't know why but he just seems too good to be true. He's too loyal to EZ, always siding with him and willing to ride or die for him and his shitty plans. I think he has ulterior motives. Hopefully I'm wrong. We shall see.

people need to stop trying to compare EZ and Jax. jax wanted the sons to go legit, his problems were his anger with clay, not realizing how hard it would be to get out of the guns and the outlaw game. even his downfall in the last season, it was kicked off over tara's death, which he was totally lied to about. at first jax would never kill unless he was forced or had a damn good reason. the problem with this show is basically you have before sutter left and after he left, the show just gets so damn different after he got fired. james just started making EZ into a killer outta nowhere and there was little build up to he, he just went full gangster

The problem with EZ shooting her is now his character has to die and it'll probably be his father that kills him. How does EZ who had morals come back from this he just killed an innocent woman half a second after she told him she loves him. It was completely out of character EZ is still hung up on his mother being murdered so I seriously doubt he would kill an innocent woman.

This season has been mostly filler w bishop & the gang moping around until they hit back at the sons for killing coco. There's no point to the show anymore. It was about SP capitalizing on the drug trade, being triple agents for the cartel, FBI & rebels, or out-doing the cartel, or becoming the ruling chapter of the mayans... Now its just... drama? "stick together", "come together primo", "the club is family primo" blah blah it's the same episode over & over again this season.
fact: everything that's happened this season would have been in 1 or 2 episodes in seasons 1-2.
The show has just become real housewives of Santo Padre.

Gives a darker depth to his already dynamic character. Besides we need less of this soap opera route their taking and get on with the WAR!!!. More bike scenes and true motorcycle culture and alot more VS with the SONs.

Gabby's death was dumb imo and purely written in for shock value-which it achieved I guess for some people but as soon as I saw her on screen this episode I knew they were gonna kill her. This show sucks without Kurt Sutter.
You have a good point and while I do think shock value was part of the reason for her death I think it was done for more than just that. I think it was also partly to show EZ becoming more ruthless and taking control. We already saw him punch Bishop for disrespecting him and push Alvarez into a war with the sons. Killing Gaby was just another step in the direction of him becoming more powerful and ruthless.
Bro I stopped watching when Gabby appeared. I think im done with Mayans 😄
