Powercreep is bound to happen if you want compelling gameplay these days in td games tbh if the units barely got stronger then the last ones from previous updates people would complain
If your gameplay is good enough you dont need units to power creep every update because different units can fill out different niches and roles, it’s just about overall design(enemy design, gameplay design, character design) they’ve fundamentally made the game into a “get stronger unit to do harder stage” type game so they can milk more money out of it
thats kinda true to some extent but theres no reason why gojo should be better than igris since hes literally a mythic pre evo and hes not even hard to evo when igris is literally 0.75% and just overall way harder to get if ur not extremely lucky

So tbh in comparison to Gojo they're pretty equal it's just that gojo's stats look inflated, which also he is a single hit and a long spa so that means he isn't good for shielded modes. Same goes for alucard as his bleed and wounding isn't taken into account in the ingame dps calculation.

There’s some ways around it like having similar dps in one game mode but having a required feature for another
