This was majorly because he had kept the cruise control set at 77kmph to avoid the numerous radar checks on the Jaipur highway. The Legender would be a perfect fit for your over landing trips and if you took it a step further and accessorized it like Bulldozer then toh Sone pe Suhaga 🙂
Dinesh bhai, i have installed Bfgoodrich tyres in my 4/4 fortuner and now performance increased a lot but mileage decreased by 2km/ltr. I am getting 10+ mileage on hills easily. You can get 15km/ltr with stock tyres on eco mode (avg speed 80).
Hi Dinesh, the S mode in fortuner is for shift range. So when you set it to S4 it means highest gear is 4th. This could help in situations where engine braking is required. Same operation is in the D mode using paddle shift.
1. It shifts late in sports mode. 2. It automatically downshifts and upshifts, but limit the top gear while driving in manual mode. 3. You can go to automatic D just by going into 6th gear. 4. Everything About auto off was false!

Bro that Auto off button is a start/stop feature used to save fuel bro… there’s no rechargeable battery… in traffic if u stop for some time the car will automatically turn off its engine and will turn on the engine when u depress the brake… that guy has no knowledge about that feature

Dinesh bhai at 12.39 in this video, you said it goes to zero while referring to the mileage graph/bar. Actually it is the graph for Litres per 100 km. That’s the reason why it goes to zero when you lift your foot off the accelerator. I think you thought about it as kms per litre.

That is engine start stop switch . Whatever he explained is lack of knowledge about the switch . It only switches of engine and save some fuel in redlight when you switch to neutral
I think he just said that, it let the accessories run on extra battery stored and shuts off the engine until the battery goes under a specific voltage.

Never ever use that on wet surfaces else it looses its power. Otherwise they say "dirtier it gets better it works".

I tried that too. That feels more plush and is fast too but ground clearance, lack of proper 4L and car like chassis limits that a lot in offroad.
