When all crew is in the meeting room and a conversation leads up to Iris saying “who fawked up?” Who’s the engineer? Who’s the captain? Who’s the genius? Who fawked up?
I really enjoyed when Doug said to Karen “you no good side Sh*tter” after she used the side air lock. or when Matt said after the gravity shift to some passengers “This Is A Safe Space, Emotionally. Physically, We’re Obviously In Terrible Danger”.
The coffins and the shit cleared the ships gravitational field when they shot the items out of the airlock. You kind of see them floating away the other direction.
The writing in this show is so rough. So much of it could be cut to make it more watchable. I barely got through the 1st viewing and a friend wanted to check it out so we watched 3 together and on rewatch I think its even worse. You basically have to turn off your brain to enjoy it. Perhaps its having watched too much other scifi but when stuff happens and they explain things in a scientific manner and it doesnt make sense... Like oh I did some math and we will be home in 6 months instead of 3 years..... oh i didnt count 500 people so its not -30 months but +6 months. so 500 people made a 30 month difference in one direction but only 6 month difference in another? Not to mention Joes death which was a whole mess he was out doing a fake "coms repair" because Judd was too stupid to understand that the further you get from earth the longer its going to take for communications to get back and forth. This isnt something fixable, the show admits that its not yet Joes outside to put on a dog and pony show? They could have just SAID they did it without actually being outside. But then at other times the show plays it off like the lag is something that could be fixed since everyone is constantly bringing it up and trying to have realtime chats rather than video mails which would be the more likely reality. Then the poo pipe rupture.... ok theres a valve you can shut off on the outside.... ok why was this piping on the exterior of the ship? Now that its shut off that would just mean the waste has no where to go so its backing up and over flowing inside right? nah stopping the leak by cutting off the pipes flow just solved the problem we dont need to worry about step 2 of the fix if any would even be possible... And then theres the whole Rav thing..... they are 3.5 years from earth... But hey Rav wants to join the party.. Few hours on a shuttle and shes there. EZPZ... Also it was a "supply ship" which never dropped off any supplies... Its only supply was spices which were in a box on the passenger seat which Rav threw on the floor so now that must mean they magically were ejected from the ship because they didnt get delivered
That's the point of the show. You're watching it expecting for the characters to make rational choices. But they literally live in an irrational world. The "sci-fi" on the show is just window dressing to the comedic elements.
if the ship had no flaws then there would be no point to watch it. and a show that gives more suspense to it is a good thing, like people need to stop thinking that every show needs to be 100% realistic, if it's so easy then you should try writing something like this and get an approval from some big company and be able to pay such high ticket actors

The alarm goes off for the baby coming but not the 4 grown adults who are dead and ejected
