I Woke up this morning and God led me to listen to this powerful word of "OBEDIENCE" by Pastor Devon Franklin. I Love Jesus Christ and will continue to let the Lord guide my life, I PRAY that God uses me in ministry to BLESS others, Stay focus, and Stay connected to HIM. AMEN!!🙏🙏🙌

OK Devon... God must be telling you to speak to me. I have been saved for 38 years (this October). I have been BUSY in church since I was saved. And I mean BUSY. At one point I was burned out. I even have a book that I have not published yet. For the past few years I have not been able to attend services because I don't have a car. I am part of the Internet audience watching my services every Sunday morning. I feel absolutely lazy because I can not be active in church ministries. And I feel God is keeping me inactive. And though I was very productive in my ministry works... I was also just BUSY. Now I have been hearing God tell me to keep preparing myself for what I am waiting for. A green banana.
Darlene Smith Maybe God want relationship from you and not your service. Serving is good, but if it, or anything is stopping you from having reflection with God, he will cut it out. Look at it this way...you can hear from God more clearly, less distractions. Heck, he may even tell you what to do about that unpublished book. Be still and know and trust❤
Not everyone likes lemons. And people don't need lemons everyday. We must not be so so grateful for just one kind of fruit. That's why variety makes more pleasure/joy. We can't be hurt when people don't appreciate our gifts bc maybe it's just not a lemonade/lemon chicken fiesta kinda day. : D Jesus should be praised bc He makes every kind of fruit tree grow with His Love and His Light : )
This message reminds me of that picture of the two men who were mining with a large pick underground because they were on a persuit for huge diamonds eyes haven’t seen and ears haven’t heard of but them two. The picture shows one man above in a button up and tie, who was inches away from the diamonds, sad and walking away because he quit, or as DeVon said “Let Go of The Promise” (paraphrased). The man directly below in the red shirt is swinging and thrusting the pick ferociously, in a mad sweat and was just inches away from the diamonds. (Look it up so you can get the picture). This reminds me, the man below, of remaining in GOD. As DeVon said the dictionary says, “to stay even when everything else is non existent” (paraphrased). If you look closely at the individual working up a sweat, his only focus is on those diamonds because of the seed/vision GOD planted in his mind and if your in the way of that large pick you may be severely damaged and possibly permanently, depending on your intentions. If their pure, because of the mans obedience you won’t be hurt, if your of “your father the devil” you will die. John 8:44 God sent me here to ask you “how bad do you want it”. Are you really focused or are you willing to quit because remaining is too hard? I’ve been at this obedience thing for 6 years. I’m just now getting into momentum. I’m the man in red on the bottom swing ferociously. It could have taken him just as long swing just as hard to finally get there. I’ve done it through obedience; with fasting the 1st four hrs of the day, praying for an hr (while simultaneously fasting), reading The Word of GOD for 30 mins directly after, meditating for an hr directly after (traditionally or through GODS words), listening to Minister DeVon Franklin for an hr directly after, listening to Pastor John C. Maxwell as it relates to the word of GOD from brother DeVon Franklins mouth directly after, listening to stoic affirmations directly after, listening Christian music while running my errands directly after. Then to top it off I listen to Dr. Eric “ET The Hiphop Preacher” Thomas for motivation & inspiration. Then I Down it all and operate in my gifting anointed by GOD and my passionate interest directed by GOD. Remaining in GOD for 6 years are just now giving me the results I’ve been desiring. I’ve cut off those bad branches and GOD has strengthened me because of it. I’ve been blessed in esoteric ways those who don’t truly know GOD wouldn’t understand. All because I remained in the vine/GOD and GOD remained in me. HALLELUJAH! #WE🆙 SELAH!
