It's a good bargain but the refills are overpriced and it's a pain to adjust the electric shaver guide. I almost broke it the other day. Still worth the money though had mine for almost a year..
I got it, not that bad of a razor. I mainly use it for the trimmer. I usually rock a full beard but I also rock a goatee lol. This is great for shaping it for me.

Nice review. I take it the whole device is waterproof? Haven't seen that in Oz yet. I tend to avoid battery razors. How do you find the 3 foil electric? I've never owned one but seems convenient.
The electric razor that I have is a rotary style razor which I like the best. I don't like having to deal with water and shaving cream, and I don't really need a super close shave. Accordingly, electric razors are my weapon of choice.
limosine Yea you can use it in the shower with the battery since it's got a rubber seal near the battery when you open it up. It's a Good razor for the price
A good shaving gel is what's required, not a lubricant, l use the Hydro 5 and my lubricated strip is permanently pushed back.In other words l never use the lubricated strip, I just love the Hydro 5 above any Gillette.
Yes, you're right. The button on mine had to be pushed in pretty deep for it to click. I mentioned to another person that perhaps a switch would be better instead of a button. It's a decent product overall.
Does the Hydro 5 razor blade end vibrate? No it seems not. Even with a long button press? One of the Amazon reviewers suggests that there is a long press that has a different result. I think that it is meant to stay on when you press the button but I am not sure. My Hydro 5 power select without the groomer stays on when you press the button and it is the razor end (it only has one end) that vibrates. +timtak1 Mine actually does stay on. I made an annotation correcting what I said, but mobile devices can't see annotations yet. You just have to push the button in deep enough for it to catch. They should just make an "up-down" switch for it. As far as the vibration, it's only the trimmer that vibrates. Thank you.

I'll make some annotations but you actually DON'T have to hold it. My trimmer just has to be pushed all the way in.

Indeed. It's quite decent. They just need to change the button to a switch or something so that people don't get confused.
