I don’t get this narrative. All I’ve seen for months on social media is Islam vs Volk Especially Volk He’s super visible all over the place. Here in Australia he’s been on the front page of the past in Sydney. Everyone saying UFC not promoting the fight already knows about the fight I think the card is weak. That would be my complaint. In his video, @mmai_analytics showed that Khabib/Islam habitually "accept" the guillotine attempt to use it as tool to work to more favourable position and also give their opponent some hope and gas themselves out. I distinctly remember Khabib talking about how he mad gargling noises to make his opponent think the attempt was close despite the fact he knew he was safe. I believe it was after Dustin's attempt in Dubai.

REPEAT, FIRING DAN HARDY WAS UNACCEPTABLE. 3.) Not hiring Luke Thomas, to replace most of the MMA media. 4.) Not using Michael Chandler for more media. Chandler needs to replace Felder and Anik. 5.) Using Dominick Cruz. No offense, but he is not a very happy person. 6.) Not using Laura Sanko earlier. 7.) Power Slap. The world's worst business decision.
I think people (Dan included) are sleeping on Islams striking. He's shown time and time again that his striking is underrated. He's not just an elite level grappler.

Volk also is a shorter and chunkier guy its much harder to take him down compared to taller guys. His knees are closer to the ground as well which means he can get back up quickly.

Dan Hardy is by far the best analytical mind in the sport of MMA today. It certainly does not hurt that he was an elite fighter himself which only adds to the profundity of his knowledge and commentary. What I find even more attractive is the fact that he isn't one of those obsequious Dana White bootlickers in and outside the UFC organization. Thanks Dan!
Hardy was hands down my favorite analyst along with Cruz. Still sucks that UFC didn’t give him a fair shake, especially when by all accounts Hardy was just being authentic and got reprimanded for it.
