Great embouchure builder, trying to pop out all the notes with equal value without changing the embouchure. Now if I could just do it in one breat......:)
Sometimes when I'm shedding pedals I feel like I'm using my tongue ('tah') as a crutch to get some of them out. The 'tah' helps with consistency, but it also feels like cheating or using the tongue too much as opposed to getting it out using air. Any thoughts?
Nice! That's an awesome idea for an excercise.
+Daniel Burt good luck with it 👍

I hear you! takes a lot of air to get those notes to speak....
+Fan Trombone ha! Indeed.... good luck!

Hi Steven - have you tried some flexibility exercises that would have no or minimal tongue and connect the pedal register to the rest of the horn?
@@NickFinzer Not much. I've definitely been neglecting pedal exercises and it shows.
especially further down the slide
for sure - its an ongoing process... if you don't use it, you lose it!!! Hope all's well, my friend!
@@NickFinzer Thanks. Same to you! :)
