Burton is a wonderful soul. Such a show man! "Laughing" is one of my very favorite songs. He loves singing & performing & loves his fans. He said... if God blessed him with his voice & people would come see him. He would tour forever. He is still doing his best! I never tire of seeing & listening to him. I love you, my favorite music Man! 🎶💗🎹👍🇨🇦 God bless you, keep you safe & well!🙏😘
I totally agree and would add Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. Don’t you think Burton Cummings would’ve been bigger if he was say born in Chicago. I heard somewhere along the line that there was a period of time that the guess who sold 50% of the albums in Canada?!!!
Burton’s in his early 50’s here and goes wide open for 1 1/2 hours no problem. A powerhouse at work. You don’t see that much anymore. Stay safe Burton. We love you buddy!
A great tribute to the icon of Canadian music. As a Winnipeger, Northendian, I proudly proclaim that Burton Cummings has been the major force behind the advancement of the nation in music.
First Burton Cummings song I heard, not knowing who he was, fell in love with his voice! The song was I’m Scared!! I was at a similar concert in Ottawa. Just Burton & his piano!! shows how talented he is!! I love this music!!
I just discovered him on TH-cam a few weeks ago and now I can't stop listening to him! He has the best voice and songwriting abilities of anyone I've ever listened to. I'm 70 and have been enjoying music since the 50s as a child.
@@karenmurphy3201 You are so right!! I think there's a Vancouver concert where he just has so much energy and puts soooo much into his performance. It is AMAZING!! And I do get up and dance - part of my exercise routine!! There are different concerts appearing on my TH-cam all the time. I like the ones with Randy Bachman, too. I had no idea he was BTO!! Their music is great as well and got played alot in the states. One of my friends wants Taking Care of Business played at her funeral, along with House of the Rising Sun and O Holy Night!! She's a hoot!!
@@deborahgauwitz1376 one of my favourites, was In Ottawa, Juli 1, 198? Was down town with friends. Burton Cumins was playing a free, outdoor concert that evening! Ended up having a bad storm, we all went home. In my room with the radio on, Burton Cummings concert will still go on at the Chateau Laurier downtown! Called my friends! Almost got trampled on, first come, first serve! It was like a big party!!
@@karenmurphy3201 What a great memory!! He is such a great entertainer, the show must go on!! I hope if he gets back to the states I can see him.. But if I can't I have a lot of his videos saved to playlists and they are so great to listen to and dance to..
Wife and I are seeing him and Randy Bachman this summer. I have seen Burton twice at cooperative sponsored event. This will be a very exciting concert!
His piano playing is like a Canadian Elton John. I didn't think Kingswood was open in 1999? It takes a 'real' natural talent to carry a full (paying) concert for 90+ minutes with just a piano and a voice. Genuinely magical, a supremely underrated Maple Leaf icon. At the top-of-his-game, this concert was worthy of a commercial release.
Sour Suite is awesome. I've seen Burton 5 times in USA. IT DONT GET ANY BETTER THAN BURTON. I won Wheatfield Soul album in 1969 at a battle bands. I was 13 yrs. old. I've had never heard Guess Who before that. I listened to the album. I've never looked back since that day. I'm all Guess Who/ BURTON CUMMINGS. THE BEST BAND IN MY HISTORY.
I so want this man to come to my town which is Brooklyn NewYork 11235 Burton before the concert I’m inviting you to my place for a homemade lasagna, good dessert, & good music .I’m cooking.😊
LONG LIVE BURTON CUMMINGS! LONG LIVE "THE GUESS WHO"! LONG LIVE CANADA & THE U.S.A.! HUGE FAN HERE, FROM PROVO, UTAH.
We love him in reg. Sask. Canada.
Wow, I forgot about this song! He still sounds so good ❤
Absolutely in love with this man since I was 14 years old and I am almost 62 there is no one better has piano playing it’s heaven
I said I’m scared, of a world without Burton Cummings
I’m back watching this for the second time, Lord, those magic hands absolutely love this man

Simply Fantastic!
Burton Cummings was the first to do the up close and Alone concert. Since then, Elton John and others have followed.
What an excellent concert. Rock on Burton!
Such an amazingly talented man.
Such a GREAT entertainmenter, spirited voice.
Playing your music .. lifts one UP .!!!! Thank you... Your piano playing and singing ? The very BEST .

The poster is incorrect, it wasn't Kingswood, this is from the CNE Bandshell on August 24th 1999
@@greatunz67 Thanks that makes more sense.
Kingswood was certainly open in 1999. I saw The Moody Blues there a couple in the mid 80s.
Worked a bunch of his shows at casino Rama doing spot light one of the best shows just love his music
Thank you for posting this. I don’t know where you get all of these awesome videos, but please keep them coming.
I don’t know who put this concert on here but thank you so very much. I have seriously enjoy this.
Beautiful! Thank you. I'll take you and just a piano anytime. Missed you in Lewiston last summer due to a family tragedy😓
If you never saw one of his shows you must go none stop hits
solo Raindance - wow!
Let's recall the time when we partied as we did in 1999. What did you do?
This is fantastic ! Thank you !
Cummings vs Sinatra. Hm . . . tough call! Love Frank, but Burton's Mack the Knife is the winner for me!
Dayam fantastic pianist too❤
The Artic-Canada treasures your talent
Timeless Love❤️
The Best!!!!!!🎹🎹🎹🙂🙂🙂😀
Bravo!!!!❤❤❤

WOW! Thanks for posting - highlight for me was probably Daydream Believer - as a diehard Monkees fan I have to admit Burton sang it better!!!
Wooohooo
The only Canadian icon with a Providence named after him. BC!

Hello, rocknroll greetings from here North Europa Suomi FINLANDIA 🇫🇮 land of peace with Russians and fckn NATO too ✨ Keep on Rockin Rollin ✨
Burton’s keyboards alone are phenomenal! Do any recordings exist with Burton playing flute?
Here’s to a couple high school buddies got a little too high. RIP Tim, Mike and Pete.
He always did the completely solo tours during the lean years when there were no hit songs or albums. Saved him a lot on paying a band lol
You're a real supporter, eh?
Burton Cummings did up close and alone long before Billy Joel or Elton John started singing solo on their piano
This one is bad because the sound is shit Trev Dec singer songwriter ❤ love Burton very much Trev Dec ❤ Declan ❤ good song writer XX ❤
