I recommend using comic backing boards for posca pens, no pilling, the paper is strong enough to handle the paint without warping, and it doesn't mess up the nibs. Plus a lot of backing boards are acid free.
I feel like the end result looks so cool but I'd be too scared because since they're so bold and bright once you put it down you'd just have to commit 😬
you can just experiment in your sketchbook at first! you should never feel like your sketchbooks have to be perfect; they exist to help you practice and experiment!
When I got the chance to earn money by the end of this pandemic, I will surely spend my earned money on art materials. My creative juices we're awakened by this channel.
i recently got my first set of posca markers and this makes me so inspired. it's been years since i've been drawing consistently last. depression gets you. but this is so nice *-* thank you
Your art style with posca is sooo good😫 it’s a whole vibe! Something about it is satisfying. If those turned into a sticker pack it would be *chefs kiss* AMAZING!
I haven't used many Posca markers, only one and it was the white marker. I had a hard time with the ink not coming out of the pen and then I figured out that you have to press down on the nib onto a sheet of paper and it worked. I would like to buy more so I create beautiful vibrant illustrations just like this. 😁👌❤
posca pens are so cool! i love using them! i'm not really a good painter, i'm more comfortable using alcohol markers, so having a marker that uses paint has helped me dive into a new medium! i really enjoyed seeing your process, especially since it's so different than mine!
Love love love. Stickers please! I bought the pens prior to knowing anything about them and thought they were defective. And thankfully I found your video. Loved the diversity! You pretty much ROCK!
Hi, my parents gave me these markers like the present for my birthday, so your video is useful for people like me. Sorry if there are some mistakes because im not from USA. Thank you for these advices ;)
I love posca pens! I've never actually tried them but I've always wanted to but they're just so expensive. This video will definitely be useful in the future when I get them. : ) I love these art pieces! My favorite one is the girl with dreadlocks and the girl in the blue outfit at the end.
U should ask for them at Christmas and if ur older and dont do it, try for a birthday with ur bday money! I got them from my bday 3 months ago, best desicion yet!
I actually found that it helps if you color the drawing with colored pencils first to avoid the paper or nib from tearing/wearing out and then color over it with the posca.
When she started the second illustration I jumped like I was not expecting it and let me tell you I was SO pleased with the results :) And you should TOTALLY do a sticker pack for these
i really enjoyed that video! first of all your style is so pretty! i love the way you draw hair and i love your confidence when doing the final lineart, it's amazing. also i liked the music, so cute :D. i wanna get posca markers too and i got some inspiration from you, thank you. keep going girl ♥
I watched almost all your videos in the past week and I’m so glad to have another video!!! I love the art💕 you are a huge inspiration to me and you are the reason I’m starting to get into gouache!!
ahhh I've been really wanting to get these, and since my birthday is next month I might just treat myself and get a pack online. Thanks for this video! I've seen a lot of people using posca but the advice you gave was really helpful. I also loved your illustrations! The matte look and bright colors are what really intrigue me about these markers, so I can't wait to try them out ^^ i'm sure it'll be tricky at first but worth it in the end
I'm always so amazed and inspired by the way you confidently use bold, flat colours for things like skin tones and shadows, etc. I think personally I tend to go for pastels/neutrals cause I'm just so scared of graphic style art even though I LOVE the outcome. Just watching this process gives me anxiety lol I'm always amazed at the end outcome ♥️
The drawings are amazing 😍 i like that stile it little give me vibes of 80 90 and a like that😍😍😍... You're amazing artist i really love your work ❤️❤️... And about the stickers that would be really great idea 🤩...
I now have a sticker pack featuring these Posca ladies!

What’s great though is that the paint is so opaque that it for change your mind on a colour you can always go over it!

I'm still kind of a newer artist, but how did you decide what colors would work best as shadows?
With the paint markers I just try to use a colour that's within the same colour family but darker
I love posca pens! I've never actually tried them but I've always wanted to but they're just so expensive. This video will definitely be useful in the future when I get them. : )
