Glad we share the same fond childhood memories of this car! I played NFS1 endlessly on my desktop back in the day and even had the steering wheel and pedals setup....haha.
Thank you! There aren't enough POV videos with really good audio of this car on YT. I'm sure I'm not the only one who dreamed of what it really sounded and drove like as a kid and this really brings it to life, lovely V12 intake bellow and all.
Legendary car! When I see a Lamborghini I have tears of joy and sadness in my eyes. Wish I could ever afford this kind of luxury, beautiful and amazing cars!
Not that I will ever own a Diablo not matter how much I want one, but the updated interior from 98(?) looks so much better. Great car my dude, im jells!
That car is savage but the other drivers don't know what the left lane is used for... What about a service, are there still spare parts for such cars (like drive belts, filters, etc ) ?
Dimitris Tripakis Lamborghini still produces some parts for it. You can also cross-reference for some parts as well from Jaguars, etc. Alternator is a Bosch unit off a Porsche 928 for example and only $228. Occasionally you will need a used part off EBay or something just depends what it is. You develop a relationship with these cars and it’s all part of the unique ownership experience they provide that makes them so special!
Countach had a ‘lockout’ switch, a metal lever that prevented accidental selection of reverse during normal driving. Dogleg is a racing car gearbox thing, to make it easy to go 3-2 on downshift, since 1st gear never used on track. It’s probably a marketing thing, since not all manual super cars used it. F40 and f50 did though.
Awesome video! I'm thinking of creating a nice compilation in topic of this video, would be nice and honored to include your video, full credited of course, what do you say? Thanks for sharing, have a great day!
03:05 Se eu vejo uma Diablo no meu retrovisor eu sairia da frente desesperadamente!!!!! (If I see a Diablo in my rear view I would desperately get out of the way !!!!!)
That's the brake system warning light....it's got a little short when you give it some throttle. Guessing due to the front end raising up when the car accelerates.
As a German, I can only shake my head about a country that allows you to carry weapons, but not to drive according to your own judgement. I‘d trade in the lack of speed limit here for a 2a any time of the day though, especially during these crazy Wuhan-Virus times...
I keep pushing my head down to look out the windshield lols.
Haha! That's great.
It works lol
Hahhahahahaaa same...
Hahaha funny man I found myself doing this looking ridiculous over here lmao
Same.
id take this anyday over a newer one
Its the last of the mohicans. RWD manual gearbox without any wildly electronic BS
Horrible interior
@@S25117 i don't give a fuck of the interior
i am excited for the new diablo in 10 more years.
Bingo !
This is the car that got me into cars! Back when I was 4 and Need For Speed on the PS1 came out, this thing made me look at cars differently. =)
Glad we share the same fond childhood memories of this car! I played NFS1 endlessly on my desktop back in the day and even had the steering wheel and pedals setup....haha.
@@Why2k haha nice! Glad you got it man! Good for you!. I just want a ride in one someday and I'd be happy! =)
Wow I ended up here because of that memory! NFS hot pursuit2 with a Diablo... good times
The Ferrari F12 was actually faster on every track but the oval
Thank you! There aren't enough POV videos with really good audio of this car on YT. I'm sure I'm not the only one who dreamed of what it really sounded and drove like as a kid and this really brings it to life, lovely V12 intake bellow and all.
Most stunning beast ever made!
Wait....... METAL???
Why not? The Lamborghini Bizzarrini V12 is one of the best sounding engines of all time. So of course I'm here.
3:42 sounds so good
Sounds a bit like McLaren F1
sounds like my honda accord lmfaoo
@@lr1534 Haha, then you woke up right? lol
Sounds so differenti to a Ferrari v12
I never knew how awkward the dashboard of a Diablo looks like.
Hasenmann TV haha it’s pretty wild!
Only early ones.

Yeah that whole interior is ugly.
Wow! I feel like im driving a diablo. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Legendary car! When I see a Lamborghini I have tears of joy and sadness in my eyes. Wish I could ever afford this kind of luxury, beautiful and amazing cars!
Driving a Diablo is an event and the whole experience is theatre . Love it
Best sounding engine/exhaust of all time for me.
gotta love the simple manual gearbox. No semi-automatic, flappy paddle nonsense
All I kept thinking was does nobody know what "slow traffic keep right" means.
Air canada
By far this lamborghini is the best model ever .. Awesome in Red ⛽
Is Doug your brother? Haha
@@Why2k No ..who's Doug?
The Diablo has really aged beautifully for a retro car; the last true Lamborghini before audi gained ownership of the company
It may not be as fast as a Murci or obviously an Aventador, but I would take a Diablo SV in a heartbeat over the other 2.
The last true? Every moron says that bullshit about any car.
That engine sound, and the clicks from the gearbox, awesome!!!
Nice to see a US guy that knows how to drive a manual transmission. Gears aren't just for going, but for slowing too?
Beautiful car, the last of the decent lambos before they ruined them
The design on the old ones is horrible m8.

LOL. I'd love the look on other driver seeing you with a gopro strapped on your head in a sick lambo :D
damn perfect color black looks so good on diablos
Thanks Man! Dark Knight Theme!
Great 👍 video also like the screaming NSX at the end ! Awesome 😎
Lovely example of an early Diablo. I'm not a fan of the wing, but that's just personal preference. Good vid.
This guy must be at least 6 foot 5 cause all we can see is the ceiling ! Thankx for the ride anyhow !
EPIC V12 SOUND
Planted 😮 ,the beast is glued to the road , what a class machine 💪
I envy you little people so much, am six foot seven.
Eh that’s not that tall I’m 6’3 and my cousin in 7 foot
@@WASRSASR No one is flexing their height lol. I just envy the fact that people smaller body sizes can experience such gems as in this case Diablo.
Damn you built like a skyscraper lol I'm 5'7 that's crazy
This is nice. I think I’d push this beast all the time just to try and find the limitations. Drive it like a serious bull all over town haha
I love how diablos sound like freaking buses at low rpms.
Haha yes, sounds like inline 6 diesel
Imagine forgetting where 1st gear is, putting it in reverse at a red light and slamming into the car behind you!

Diablo had a feature where you had to bend/tilt the gearstick to access reverse
The interior looks very 1990s
It don't looks 90's it SCREAMS 90's
"I know all we're doing is travelling without moving"
My dream car as well. Esp this black) Blake could you make more videos about repair and maintaining of this beauty?)
barocc yes I did! Checkout everything that’s broken video!
Why2k believe it or not, i ve already seen that video. And its awesome.
barocc excellent!
What a great video man... Thanks for uploading it. I'm almost there buying mine, only problem is that I'm 6ft4 but I don't care. haha
You can do a seat mod to lower height and should be fine! You're gonna love driving and owning it!
Beautiful sound from one of my childhood favs. Thanks for the vid. :)
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey @Why2k I thought I knew where you where in the video at first. I was wrong. Where was the bridge drive?
Hands down the absolute coolest car ever.
Good stuff, keep enjoying your icon.
Diablo Roadster thanks so much! Happy to meet a fellow owner 👍

Thanks 1992!
Is it sad that I only know this car from the "Pegassi Infernus Classic" ?
Is the interior new or is that the stock?
You should have done a ride way out of town.. on a Sunday morning dawn

Go ahead!
Take it to the track
What year is this car? 1990?
1992 👍
Thanks man , I appreciate this content 👍
Don't you just love the sound!
Why do you start in second gear?
It’s a dog leg 5 speed transmission. First gear is where second normally would be. Reverse is where 1st would be 👍
Where was this filmed??
Beautiful spec, I had a kit model just like it when I was very young. It was the first car I loved.
sounds so good. Crab island looked great too.
Great video
Thank You!
Miami vice style very nice!
Where i live left lane is the faster passing lane, why are people not moving.
America isn’t as trained as other countries when it comes to driving etiquette.
@@Why2k oh ok.
I'm thinking of doing a similar video in my Peugeot 307 diesel....... beautiful lamborghini sending jealousy from the UK.

What year is this car?
MAGNUM05 1992! It’s a first generation car. RWD only and manual steering rack.
that car sounds too cool to be from 1992
I want to give a huge thanks to Need For Speed for introducing me to this car! A truly epic machine and a beautiful one especially the SE30!

How many gears dose it have ?
5!

Why’s the watch on the right hand?🤔
I'm left handed :)
You don't drive with your hand on the gearshift
Wtf how long this bridge

He really sounds like one of those guys.
btw: I love the looks of this cars, especially in purple
don't rest your hand on the gear shift!
I wonder how many times Jay would have used the word visceral?
Sounds like a b18 non v. Also not as quick as I thought. Still sick
My second favourite car over a McLaren F1, best colour too.
The sound of the road reminds me of the a12
I’d actually enjoy my journey to work in this car
whats up with the people on the left lane
It's how we drive in America :)
Where is it?
Florida 👍
Tiny air vents. I guess the A/C doesn’t work anyway 😀
It actually does work. However, it’s not going to keep to with a hot summer day lol. More of a slight cooling affect than true air conditioning 😂
insane
"doing more vides of this car" as camera looks at the ground for most of the time.

Seems about right since Lamborghini started off building tractors 😅
@@Why2k Lamborghini fixed this dashboard in the 1994 model.
Yes they did. I prefer non VT cars though. First Gen looks and drives the best to me as it’s lighter due to being RWD 👍
