It was very interesting seeing this comparison! I like that the older ones are small and you can fit more on your bracelet. The newest charms are more cutesy and detailed, so that's attractive too. But I do feel more drawn to the older pieces. I just wish they'd use more natural stones and maybe less czs. P.S.: Your little girl is adorable!

What great concept for a video!!! In the short time that I’ve been collecting pandora, I have to say I like both new and old. Like you said, sometimes it’s hard to style some of the newer charms because of the bling or colored enamel. For example, I love the popcorn charm and I have it on my bracelet dedicated to my son to represent our love for watching movies. It’s pink. It would be nice to have an all silver one as an option.

That was fascinating. I am a brand new Pandora Newbie and I have been shocked at how tiny my first five purchases have been. They included the Precious Princess and Precious Prince. I don’t like that queen with the lip injection and did not order her! I may be satisfied with just one bracelet after all. I may wait to buy a Disney specific clasped bracelet. I won’t resist the Disney carriage.
I agree with a lot of other commenters - I like both! Older pandora is so simple, classic, and beautiful with the oxidized detials. Newer is even more detailed and has some pretty sparkle which can add variation and interest to a bracelet design. In general, I'm not a fan of bold enamel since it limits styling. Presley is starting to talk so much better! I've noticed this in my 3 year old recently too.

I tend to go a little more shiny and blingy, but sometimes the others fit better and sometimes you just make them fit because they’re so classic, precious or have a special meaning. I would strongly agree with you about the size of the charms ... but if i have to say i prefer older charms or newer I cannot say i prefer some of them in general ... they have done amazing work with both and they have a little something for everyone ... so I would say i want them all ☺️💗💗💗

Perhaps, the modern charms are more detailed, but sometimes they are like toys (for example the unicorn 🦄 which you shown - the older charm is more pretty). And it would be nice if Pandora makes the second release of their old most popular charms...
The big difference I have noticed is the cz and oxidization. The older charms have less if any cz used more real stones and oxidization. The newer are very sparkly and shiny which I actually prefer. Personally I think it helps it stand out from Troll beads a bit more than originally.
The dangle little girl is not the first... It's the second actually and the other girl you showed is third. I got one of the first little girl charms that Pandora made... I love Pandora, but I do wish some of the current styles were not made as large and chunky as they are. I think they do not consider some customers are petite.

I used to have a teacup with a tiny mouse inside (in like 2014 but my grandma stole that bracelet so it’s gone) and I had the Alice in the tea cup in a Disney park bracelet which my sister bought me in September when we were there (but that one fell off and I never noticed, until I was driving and saw my wrist and it was empty and I never found it)

Certainly depends on the charm for me. I LOVE the new house over the old house but LOVE the old lady bug over the new lady bug. The die are a toss up for me (haha did you see what I did there?) as they both look pretty much the same to me. I do love both pumpkins and since i didn't have the old one, the new one is just as cute! Love his stitched mouth though. The dangle tea cup is just adorable so #teamnew for that one :) LOVE the original unicorn! Bruno looks like a hippo with a horn (at least that's what my 5 year old thinks)...The gold chunky angel creeps me out for some reason hehehehe Love both cameras! NEED that older christmas tree with the gold star! Loved this video idea!

I think they are making fewer ones with the screw on inside due to the new clip station free bracelets. I suppose maybe too a screw one is more expensive to make I was told Pandora put a anti tarnish coating on their charms that is why their charms tarnish slower at first ( till anti tarnish coating wears off)than other company's charms. Anyone else heard about this? and I wonder if they have always put that coating on their charms or is it a newish idea 😘
I’m sure it’s cheaper for them to make more open works and less threaded charms. It’s probably what makes the old boxes feel heavier even if they are smaller. I hadn’t heard that but it would make sense! Charms like Bruno are soooo shiny and I haven’t really had it tarnish yet.
I'm kind of glad they're slowly getting rid of the the screw system because 2 of my really old charms (football and duck) for some reason do not fit on my bracelet anymore. Like they don't screw on and it's really frustrating because there's no use for the charms now :(
The older twotone tea pot is so much smaller . I have the original on my Alice in wonderland bracelet. And the newer one i will one day get for my afternoon tea bracelet. And there is one more Christmas tree that has been retired buuut it is on Ruelala.com right now and it's discounted

Hi Nicole I have a question I purchased a Pandora silver bracelet and it looks tarnished has this happened to you I ordered it on ruelala I used a pandora cloth to clean it but it seems very very tarnished or is it just the color a lot of tarnish came off of it so I’m assuming it’s silver do you have any suggestions Thanks Janet. love watching your videos
Oh no how tarnished?? I’ve never had that problem. Have you cleaned with soap and water?? I also like to use a cloth from some sunshine company. They are soo good! If you watch my video where I clean my Tiffany bracelet that might give you an idea on how I’d clean it.

It’s Pandora.net. There are quite a few authorized online retailers. For the US they are listed on there website. Be very careful of fakes!! What country are you in?
Rue LaLa is authentic!!! If you haven’t used them they have Pandora at random times, it’s retired stuff you can’t get at stores (mostly), and always at a significant discount!!! My collection wouldn’t be what it is without that site!! Popular ones are Jared the Galleria and Be Charming. There are quite a few others but those are popular.
To be honest I still prefer the old charms. There are too much cz in the new one.The old one for me have more.magic in to a charm.

I think they are making fewer ones with the screw on inside due to the new clip station free bracelets. I suppose maybe too a screw one is more expensive to make I was told Pandora put a anti tarnish coating on their charms that is why their charms tarnish slower at first ( till anti tarnish coating wears off)than other company's charms. Anyone else heard about this? and I wonder if they have always put that coating on their charms or is it a newish idea 😘
I’m sure it’s cheaper for them to make more open works and less threaded charms. It’s probably what makes the old boxes feel heavier even if they are smaller.
I hadn’t heard that but it would make sense! Charms like Bruno are soooo shiny and I haven’t really had it tarnish yet.
I'm kind of glad they're slowly getting rid of the the screw system because 2 of my really old charms (football and duck) for some reason do not fit on my bracelet anymore. Like they don't screw on and it's really frustrating because there's no use for the charms now :(

The older twotone tea pot is so much smaller . I have the original on my Alice in wonderland bracelet. And the newer one i will one day get for my afternoon tea bracelet. And there is one more Christmas tree that has been retired buuut it is on Ruelala.com right now and it's discounted

Me myself I like alittle of both versions depends on the theme or style your going for on your bracelet, small dainty or big bold sparkly 🤷♀️ one things for sure the bigger the charms the less you need to purchase haha 😂🤗👜. I’m with you! Love them both. Bruno is the perfect example. The classic dangle one I think is timeless and beautiful but it wouldn’t have mixed well with my sweet dreams bracelet. So good to have options!

Hi Nicole I have a question I purchased a Pandora silver bracelet and it looks tarnished has this happened to you I ordered it on ruelala I used a pandora cloth to clean it but it seems very very tarnished or is it just the color a lot of tarnish came off of it so I’m assuming it’s silver do you have any suggestions Thanks Janet. love watching your videos
Oh no how tarnished?? I’ve never had that problem. Have you cleaned with soap and water?? I also like to use a cloth from some sunshine company. They are soo good! If you watch my video where I clean my Tiffany bracelet that might give you an idea on how I’d clean it.

Rue LaLa is authentic!!! If you haven’t used them they have Pandora at random times, it’s retired stuff you can’t get at stores (mostly), and always at a significant discount!!! My collection wouldn’t be what it is without that site!!
