Honestly the whole bonus thing should warrant a reset. That's very much game breaking. Also this video should definitely be an example of why they should make the randomizer work without the GoA mod
To anyone who doesn't know... you don't need to make 5K munny to progress the story. Saves you about 10mins plus of your life (That's only to start you off with some munny for Sora) Just talk to Hayner and the station and select whichever that shows you're ready to move on
That was quite a journey. It kind of makes me wish for a more "normal" randomizer, though - GoA is great, but I think a randomizer made for the intended story order where your options are more limited could be very interesting.
2:07 from my own older rando seeds i love pete so much in rando the fact that there's like, 3 or 4? version of Pete including the Past one means he has a good amount of chances to appear somewhere really funny like the Sephiroth fight or Axel 1
You don't actually have to earn the 800 munny on day 2. You just have to have more than 150. Having at least 950 gets you +1 AP, and playing the mini-games until the game forcefully relocates you to the station gets you +2 AP.
Yep, I'm aware that you need to do one job normally to progress, but in boss/enemy rando, the enemy that replaces the dusk doesn't drop munny, so I had no idea at the time how much to get xD
After using the Absent silhouette you entered GoA dkip then skipped halfway through the game, now the code has a splutelg no fucking idea what to load in next.

Hmm what I did was generate a seed then just build and run without the goa mod enabled. This video was done with an old generator so idk if things have changed 🤔
Most of them start with different attacks or have different effects than the normal one. So for example, Data Xigbar starts by teleporting and shooting you and normal Xigbar starts with his FPS attack that you can use an RC with. Data Axel causes your health to deplete really quickly while normal Axel depletes it really slowly. Data Roxas is resistent to reflect and has lower rv, normal Roxas gets destroyed by reflect, etc.
The obnoxious use of "twitch speak" combined with the unnecessary use of speedrunner language like the needless shortening of Port Royal to "PR" was enough to earn a dislike. Had genuine difficulty following along at points because of the minced words
The moral of the story is every path leads back to Twilight Town with Vivi screaming to help Seifer who is completely fine.

This seed was done a while ago so I don't 100% remember, but I believe I was playing with them separate since that's what I normally do xD

Is the GoA mod not actually required to play the randomiser? All the setup instructions made it seem like it was absolutely mandatory.

That's a mod for a randomizer themed title screen. It changes the art and loads faster than the normal one
