If i were your dad I'd be proud of you..all of you impress me for your work ethic and in detail you take on these cars..i only wish my daughter and granddaughter had your drive and motivation to make a good living for yourselves and your family....
My older stepbrother had a 64 Impala in light blue. Not a SS or anything special but it had the 300 hp 327 and a 4 speed. He ended up selling it to buy a family car with AC and an automatic after his second kid was born. I wish I’d had the money to buy it from him but even in 1978 they were already more money than a 17 year old making $3.00 an hour after school could afford. I’d love to have one today, but they ain’t cheap.
The video would have been 6 hours long then and that’s after massive amounts of editing to cut down on the content. The process to remove these dents is not a small, quick and easy POP, s as d the dent is gone type of thing, but is more of a delicate art like a brain surgeon removing a tumor that is full of blood vessels and nerves that have to carefully be worked around and not disturbed. They make it look incredibly easy but it takes a talented hand and even more , a gifted eye to be able to remove those dents with surgical precision!! You have to be able to read the metal and let it tell you what it needs in order to accomplish what these guys accomplished on this Porsche. For the metal geek who’s into that type of stuff, a video of it is better than Porn but too most guys, it’s just a long, boring video about nothing, which is why you rarely see videos about the subject
Did yall go to autobody school or do you just love what you just love what you do so much that you just started doing it and got really good really fast ???
Little bit of both. We’ve been to a few classes for various skills over the years and have learned from other people in the industry who do high end work who we’ve always strived to be as good as. So the drive and desire to do our best is really what’s pushed us to learn what we have and turn out the work we do. Jesse and Paul have both been painting cars together in various capacities for almost 15 years, and Paul has been painting professionally for a job 9 years. Most of our knowledge comes from experience and having done well over 100 full paint jobs and restorations together since starting the shop about 8 years ago.
@@HouseofPearls thats interesting .. im 50 now and my beat years are behind me but i do get down to the garage on a daily basis n tinker mostly on engines n transmissions tho … im more of a gears n axles guy than i am. Y’all are unbelievably amazing.
Mad respect on the rejection of new parts that come in junk. Slower is faster most of the time.

Considering what perfectionists you guys are, how do you feel about doing a job where ok is good enough?

Sorry '64 chevy
Didn’t see the old man’s 55?
They put it in Stealth mode this week, out of sight, out of mind for most of the viewers, lol 😂
