Ficus microcarpa 'Tiger bark' in banyan style. A fusion of 6 different trees that I originally twisted and planted in 2 different groups but decided to put together for the main trunk. You can still see the two groups, one group of 4 more erect the other two I positioned more leaned to fill out space but they are all fused at contact. "Aerial roots" are also fused rooted cuttings. Mostly clip and grow with some guy wiring. There were two F. microcarpa rooted cuttings mistakenly used as aerial roots that were not 'tiger bark' and grew much faster than the rest. I removed the one in front because it was obscuring the trunk but there is still one in the back that fused well with the tiger bark so I decided to leave it for now. I probably will put it in a bonsai pot sometime next year if I can find a nice affordable pot.
Thank you very much. I am very happy with how this one is turning out so far. I think once those "Aerial roots" thicken up some, it will look more impressive.

Wow, amazing tree. How did you fuse the cuttings? Did you graft them onto the existing branches?
I just wired and pretty much "braided" or twisted them together and then simply allowed them to grow into each other.
What are you using in soil brother?
Mostly just loamy potting soil with a lot of pine barks.
That is an impressive fusion, awesome work. That trunk is massive!
