It depends on the narrative. We've gotten several different numbers. It's either 11, 9 or 6. It changes so we can't be sure at this point.
For sure they are 9, but if the cameraman is her son, so it’s 10 , don’t know anybody else.
Also, I think Ali and the two oldest sisters are siblings with the same father. I always thought the two oldest sisters were not daughters of Karim 😮

I can't recall that info on any episodes. I remember Aunt Leila talked about his brother who passed from an accident in an episode at this very location around October last year. She was telling the story to Mother as if Mom is unaware of this brother who passed away. If Ali is one of the children then wouldn't Mother know her own story?

I didn't know about that story either. I only know about Aunt Leila's older brother who passed away when she was 5-6 years old. Auntie talked about him around October last year. It can't be that deceased brother. Mother couldn't be older than Auntie when that man passed.

I like this a man I don’t think he is going to tolerate B.S. from Karim. We are getting more information about the events leading up to his arrest. Ali told us all what we knew. Karim is a mean and deceitful husband. Mother Bloom allowed him to get a second wife than to divorce him. She did more to provide her family shelter, food and clothing than he has done for those 6 kids. We never see the oldest boy of the six. So sad. Maybe Ali can use the truck unless it's in Karim's name. Then his second wife could get back the dowery money she brought into their marriage. Either way Karim screwed his family badly.

When you have the same mother you are not half sister or brother because you come from the same Mothers womb. I think i read a while ago Mrs Bloom has a grown up son ( Ali?) and two grown up daughters (Fatima and twins mother) Someone wrote they are the children of a sister who passed away and she then raised them as her own children. I dont know if that's true. Whatever the true story, Mrs Bloom certainly loves Ali and the older girls like they are her first born children.
I hope Ali can stay a while and help with the hut. Hopefully he has some Army friends who would help. It could be finished in s few days then.
