I used the spike storms with the vortex last week, and it works. But it took me three tries :D) The apprentice seems better that the engineer... Well, congratulations, you're the best. And... I vote for a switch on/off for MK!
True but fun to use every now and then. On the flip side. Not using boss and no tack exploits, means two or more runs from around levels 18-22 with crates and a bloonstone start... So that would be at least 6 crates and 20 bloonstones per level.
Very interesting start. This boss's most difficult part is affording the first spike storm without dying to natural bloons. I like the many many tacks to subvert the boss's ability. I was struggling as this boss also causes crashes when you sell tons of towers. Since the boss has an ability triggered by selling, sometimes the game will just close. It's the only boss to do it,. Ninja Kiwi knows but of course the game is too old and un-played.. understandable. I will try this, this week!
I barely beat stage 6...i see you use 3/0 tacks on early defence, i use them only on Vortex, on others Maulers (or until i killed my max account, Spike Storms or MOAB Assassins on low stages, then it became micro which i suck at :D)

I have been hoarding boss abilities and working my way up toward using them to ace lvls 20 to 25 but I am still tweaking strats at the moment without them. Watching this makes my mouth water with anticipation. I have a couple of questions if I may be so bold? 1. What were your actual MK levels for this fight? 2. In the video you say "spike storm boosted is boss"; what do you actually mean? Does boosting a spike factory actually improve the spike storm ability in some way? Thanks.
Thanks :) This account has high monkey knowledge. I'll be do a video on it soon. No monkey boosted doesn't produce more spikes with the spike storm ability. It's just a play on words. But monkey boosting, plus CTA boosting with the spactrories in front of the boss with assassin ability all together give heavier damage and saturation. Although I was too slow/lazy toward the end to get the factories up near the end to get it to work perfect. I want to try Joe's use of overclock on the spike factories, but again I'll need to be a lot faster with placing towers as well as being accurate.
Watch out! If you're playing Boss events on Mobile, they're dang harder. You notice they're kinda faster, and microing becomes slower with all the tapping/clicking(on BlueStacks). But fortunately they have one common weakness: a 0-4 Ability Ice Monkey can slow 'em down!

secret I had a ton of problems defeating blastpopulas because Im only city level 21 and not too much of upgrades (and Im nub xD) so the only way I found to be easier to destroy him at low levels if 2/0 engineers so because he can only stun 2 towers at once there are still a crap ton hitting him (the sentries) :)but its still a bad stratigy if you get to level 7+ lel
but when you start getting to level 30 (I think) its easier and anyways I spend almost all of my bloonstones like 15 there 10 there and then Im out because I dont like to capture like very hard+ lands

yeah, that happens oftenly in games. works especially well with double clicking mouses and twitching fingers

Yeah low city levels are extremely tough with bosses
