Great info. Just confused why Swiss chard is continually shown when talking about spinach. Unless that’s a type of spinach I’m not familiar with…..? New gardeners may not know better and expect their spinach to look like that…
Absolutely yes, Swiss chard and spinach are in the same plant family. Swiss chard is also part of the beet family, and is sometimes called a spinach beet. And I grow that one so that’s why I shows you chard instead of spinach. Thanks 😊
