I thought I was not going to comment anything but hey the moment she said women don't need men am like really. I am so mad at the statement she made I think these are statements that are destroying society and destructing us from the real issues of society. How can you say you don't need a man when you came to be through a man who dodad your mother. If humanity is to continue we need emphasis on needing each other. Fine you have all you need but how can you be so selfish by denying to be a medium of continuity for humanity. A discussion is needed on who needs who I can't say everything but hey pen your guests this is fire 🔥 and I love it please have another one on the last discussion especially from the moment she stated women don't need men. Am not satisfied I need to hear more of this honestly.
The duration is perfect. Even feels shorter, which means im enjoying the content. Let’s up it to 3 hours please. We will watch! Great show
Great show as always but at times mics break for split seconds , Otherwise interesting topics and view points.
We need more Tebza because he understands how to speak to the average South African and he understands the average South Africans lived experience
Siyabonga
100%
for sure
After the previous episode I didnt think Lebo was gonna come back 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm glad she's back, wish to see more of her, keeping those conversations more robust and dynamic🤭
@@siyabongangcobo2009 She's a lion 🔥🔥🔥
Love her too bits although I disagree with her on stance of wanting to police thoughts.
But man she's good and makes for a great sport in Conversations.
Penson has been cooking lately, the past 2 episodes especially. 🔥🔥🔥
Hoping to turn this show into something special, with your help. Criticism, suggestions, feedback, etc.
Tebogo must not be afraid to say/speak his mind otherwise it makes the podcast sensored. No opinion is right or wrong, only facts. 🤔
Also maybe get a round/oval/C shaped table?
Love the commentary from your panel, but also try as time goes on to bring experts of these various subjects to be a part of the conversation.
@@tebogomaphefomodiba4232 Will definitely use this.
@@godpenuel 🙏🏾
Can you have a conversation about a partner bringing their past trauma into a relationship and when is the right time to help them or set them loose as well as what to do when dealing with toxic inlaws
Can’t wait to watch the full thing after class ..I literally feel my brain expanding after listening to these
For sure❤, where are you watching from and where are you studying, only if you don't mind me asking?
This comes to show that there's a time and place for everything. the same lebo who once went on an insta live and complain that abo penual don't give woman like her a chance to come and engage is now a regular on the platform. Siyabonga!
Sibonge indeed 🙏🏽 We're going to unite genders & fix our families, by fire, by force 🔥🔥🔥
Wednesday are never the same for me being a stay home Dad, while looking for a Job, y'all convos keep me sane
Ngiyabonga Pen and crew
A great opportunity is heading your way Brother, stay positive. 🙏🏽
Dope convo but a very depressing one for me, I'm realising that our individual perspectives make it really difficult for everyone to understand each other.
@@ethichadebe this is very true.
As a single mother, I parent my son in my lens as an adult looking at how my single mother parented me. I am more forgiving and understanding now than I was as a child. I am teaching him to forgive me and that when he grows up my flaws and misses will make sense, however, I want him to grasp that now at 14 which is hard because he's seeing me from a child's lens.
I want him to have the understanding of an adult now so he doesn't carry unnecessary trauma.
Dope convo gents, As a man who is about to get married, We are in need of an outlet. We are not as strong as we appear, We don't always have the answer, eg. Try taking a problem to your women, You'll soon find yourself having to stop her from panicking, and you having to come with a solution to your own problem just to comfort her😅😢, You came with one problem then walk away with 2. Kunzima
Oh hay kodwa😂
True 😂😂
🤣 🤣🤣 This explains a lot. I think we as women like to talk "Thinking out loud" as a form trying to come up with solutions, while men on the other hand want to quietly think/ponder overtime till they have a solution. Our talking is seen as panicking and the men being quiet is seen as disengaging or withdrawal 🤷♀? Shame man you making me feel bad for my Husband 😄
Penson is getting better at debating! Loving his rebuttals and how he’s keeping his cool and sticking to his points and not rambling.😂👏🏽
Love the candidness of the show. It would be nice to put a face to the voices in the background, the gentlemen add great insight. The more the uncomfortable the topics the better, not really interested in the news topics or what's trending unless it has direct relation to the main conversation i.e., Tyrese on Breakfast Club. Thank you all for a great show, its becoming a weekly fave❤
sho Pen , consider having some podcasts as just the gents , really enjoyed the First half of the podcast....
Shout-out to Tebza💯
We are here for Leboooooo ,we love Lebo …and also Shout out to you Pen for this format ..it’s dope !..we also get to really see your brother foreal ..blood thicker .
Pen you're winning bro! You are "substance" while the rest are just the "form". Bro Penson, i dig you for standing up proud for what traditional mesculinity is supposed to represent.
I would like to see you (Penson) delve deeper into your philosophical knowledge base and share more opinions based on philosophical ideology . Bigups bafowethu!!!🔥
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words... I will continue pushing philosophical ideologies! 🤝
Agreed!
I am loving the dope conversations, this episode inspired a heart to heart conversation with my mother about how she grew up 52 years ago in household that didn't hold a safe space for conversations about emotions. It really was a bonding moment for the two of us.
I am grateful for such conversations continue doing the most. A big thumbs up from me.
Who is the guy speaking on background who is not Tebza or Penuel? I think he should be given a platform to speak more, his perspective is very refreshing and what a lot of people are experiencing.
Calm demeanor, ooh & his voice❤ 😊😮
14:49 As a Swati man, Ayikho lento oyishoyo, mina ngiProudly Swati (As I type this in Zulu😂)
Having a limited world view is a problem. I fail to understand why some men like saying all women want guys with money, when they are the ones chasing those types of women. Not all women date men for their money. I like what Penson said at the end, date the type of person that has your same values and views, that way you wont generalize a whole gender because of your poor choices. I loved some of the points of one of the ghost gents, not sure of his name, very empathetic and really digs deep into what may be the root cause of some of the breakdowns in black families. Lebo thank you for balancing out the panel. Dope convo
Only got to watch the episode now, yall are so cool... plus the setup is fire! Loving the progress, keep it up!
penuel stop interrupting the guys u dont interrup big guests but you always interrupting Penson and Tebz even on ur interviewswith tebza and penson all these one word interruptions let the broers stream their conciousness
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally someone says it! 🤝🤝🙌
Great conversation 🔥. . . With insight, there’s always something to digest.
Penson is cooking ✨
DANKO!!!!!!!
Always!
🔆There's a reason colonizers and the colonial masters used brute force and coercion to force society into a certain direction, because humans are vast and different, and will never agree to one unifying idea, hence we used Kings and Governments to decide for us, so as positive and as needed it is to discuss these topics but humans ultimately need an overriding authority to decide for us🤞💯
@@iviwediko7210 Yerr 🔥🔥🔥
Touché.
.. TRULY FITTING NAME for this platform.. Big Up Ladies & Gents
You guys should continue doing this, i enjoy
That self improvement aspect is the key, the minute we reach a point where in whatever you do as a people, whether father, mother, wife, husband, man or woman even girl or boy…if you are geared towards constant self improvement, actualisation and introspection we’ll get to a point where people are doing their best atleast. Of which is subjective but atleast everyone would 1. love themselves in essence, 2. try to do better to the next person and 3. realize nobody is perfect. The minute you are able to realise that and at the end of the day be good with yourself and your actions you’re on the right track in whatever you do… i don’t know if i’m making sense.
Great insight.I must say I admire the perspective Lebo brings and the fact that all of you guys come from different worlds.Need more of this kinda conversations.
I would like a weekly sit down with this panel, however another female should be added. ❤ thank you guys for this content. 🎉
Lebo🔥 "survival mode you provide for your offspring it doesn't necessarily you are present to your kids" paraphrasing!
i enjoyed these conversations, keep them coming. Lebo she's good, she makes see the world in a women's view. that helps me understand women better.
"Oh Sh*t. here we go again"
Couldn't wait for Round 2, lets get it!!
Lebo needs to be part of the platform and conversations when its not jist Penuel. Great convo.
I enjoy these conversations uyazi. Thanks Pen & Pen, thanks Lebo, thanks to the gents behind the scene for your contribution. 🙌🙌💥💥💯💯💯
Dope relatable conversations. Siyabonga. Some of us need to hear this.
Thank you guys for this version of Dope Conversations. Really enjoyed this and it sparked so much introspective thoughts and what really captured me was Sizwe and Tebza's closing thoughts. They are such relatable guys for us as gents, please keep them on as a ghosts to share their views and may Tebza not be silenced again please. He relates with the lived experience of most of us gents in SA. Thanks again guys keep it up!
+3 hour, Plus. Please shut it down when it's done
THANK YOU!!!!
@@pensonmlotshwa just like the kings themselves, JRE & Lex Fridman. Please respect us God Pen, we don't have tiktok 🧠
@@princemofokeng1389 Please talk to your boy! He is forever telling us to wrap up! 😭😭😭😭
Dope conversations is a clear winner....love the format, love the content! ❤
Hope this conversation will continue!
All I can suggest is to have a collective definition for things such as 'safe space' so that the conversation can feel more coherent👌🏾
Other than that hope the episodes can go on longer to get into these layered topics!
Big fam keep it up!!
Yey uyahlupha u Penson, uyayibanga i chaos, kodwa ke siyamthanda ningamxoshi bo
Tebza kills me everytime😂😂and penual
He felt too safe today 😂😂😂😂
Ungathi uyazi ukuthi angidelanga ukunibuka. Thanks for more🎉😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ohhh damn! Another amazing episode...I thought she wasn't gonna come back after the previous robust conversation😮😅 she is indeed a Lion 😂🎉❤
Eish, Lebo is beautiful mahn
The safe space convo needs alot of unpacking, I feel we live in a society where were being groomed by 30sec video's on social media. And you realize that alot of the world is operating on how women view the world. "We must treat them right, take of them, emotions etc." And you realize women also tell men how to act and be men. So them now you realize men are becoming more emotionally responsible when it come to the next brother. But again alot to unpack.
The Lion is lioning… akunkani kuyafiwa. We need more of her. She keeps us on our toes.
Please add Penson and Lebo to the Group chats to they can share their studies with us, thank you
They must add us!

🤣🤣🤣I wasn't waiting for that but now I am
Yey wena!!! 😅
We’ll definitely appreciate more of this Pen&Pen❤…. You two are like one person with dual personalities 😂😂. So we get both with you two ndawonye ❤❤….
I like that you went back to the format we are used to even though you separated the table.
At least you are both in one shot and the tables help because your leg can't sit still and it is distracting
I'm happy
25:35 The painted nails slap! I love it for men 💅🏽
Word is bond 🍃🥋🔦
I appreciate the cast bringing pads n pens to keep note of their train of thought and not interrupt abruptly in fear of losing their points.
For the next sit down please ask Sis Lebo how she believes a woman should treat a man
She also mentioned that she had to know her worth/value, I would like for her to unpack what that means for her ❤❤
1:11:11 This right here is so Important
Next time have a conversation about Mental health, i want to hear Penson's thoughts
You guys are hilarious, really enjoyed the show. Would like to suggest that maybe you invite ordinary people like us to also share our views on relationships and experience on life.
Yeses! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Peneul hit hard on therapist that accommodate understanding even wrong should be called out hence they will fall under judgemental block if they go other way
Penson is getting good at this debating thing, I like that he listens more now and he's been on fire the last 2 episodes. I also love that there is order this time around, thank you, Penuel. Lebo (Livhuwani) is well-articulated, man!!!!! thank you for making me see things from a woman's point of view, I'm understanding yall more now.
I Honestly Think That These Conversations Are Necessary And Should Be Had And Heard.
The Parenting Template I Think Though, It's Hard To Set Because These Are Ever Changing Times. Everything That You/We As "Woke" Parents Are Doing Currently. Our Kids Will Sit In Podcasts ±15 Years From Now And Share The Flaws Of Their Parents. The Point I'm Trying To Make Is This, Getting Everything Right Is Almost Impossible.
Obhut bam👊 much love❤
As we grow mindfully
Im here for that 02:00:00 narrative.
And we are here… 👌🏾😅!

Great Episode and thank you guys.👍🏾
Time stamps, guys, please. If possible.
Great show!
Please bring Isaac Mamorobala, that guy has the wisdom like yours Pen i would like to see you Together
Dope Convos as usual🔥
I would just like to hear solutions(or what each of the speakers THINK what a potential solution could be) to these problems y'all keep discussing about, it would be nice if the audience can have something to ponder on after watching an episode.
Great to have ousi Lebo back✨️, I'll be honest, I felt uncomfortable when she gave her ideas or stances on certain topics, this feeling was evidence of being a permanent resident in our echo chambers, and she made me and I'm sure quite a few of the audience snap out of only listening to things you WANT to hear :)
I love Lebo Lion, is she single?😂😂can she come back please and co-host?
Sbwl for Tebza to speak more ke sana
Sbonge 🙌🏾
We all have ideals in life and basically the strong shall enforce what they deem “fair”
Penson wants masculinity
Lebo wants feminism
Let the games begin for the throne to rule over the weak
Sis Lebo, you've gained a follower...where do you get all these smart pipo Pen?
I love Lebo

@@vincentmacamo6301 I can understand this.
Self introspection is difficult.
Three to four hours please.
28:56... I suppose we live in two different worlds because aga shame is for single dads not moms.
Tebza is an absolute gem
This Lion girl is passively toxic.
Single fathers get more flowers than single mothers because we’ve normalised male family abandonment
;OVE LEBO
Penson maguy don't stop cooking and please don't make anyone make you fold. Most gents are weak they need a brother like you.
Lebo Lion😍😍
Penson and tebza should definitely pull up most of the time
37:34 Oooh! "Amajita are not a safe space for amajita" ... 😢
I believe there are no specific templates that must be set for how we should live, because deep down, we all have our conscience guiding us. Our morals naturally shape our behavior, as we inherently know what is right and wrong towards ourselves, others, and the world. Particularly within the Black community, we need to foster a culture of accountability. Once we do that, we'll be better equipped to self-correct, and perhaps then the 'templates' we seek will emerge on their own. One of the challenges we face is that we've grown too comfortable with being broken, which stems largely from a lack of accountability. That's just to say the least.
-S/o to bra Tebza
penson ended the convo perfectly
2:03:20 Lebo we NEEED the links to those studies please.
Great conversation as always bafwethu and a gentle-sister. The hardest thing to listen to, and perhaps from my fairness and neutrality longing mind, is hoping to hear sester speaking for and saying something positive and good about men. Just One Time. I have come to realize, more often than not, it is easier to hear your own call you out on bullshit than any other way. I find that sester misses countless opportunities to even be neutral on topics where women could potentially be seen in a small cricical lens. From the last episode, nothing critical has she said about women and perhaps this is a result of the space and platforms she is involved in, I am guessing/assuming...
Otherwise great episode and Tebza should try speak more on the Men Issues, more voices are needed on that front.
I'll stay it again, Tebza should speak more
Evening Penuel, please bring Penrose on Dope Conversations. We would like to se you have a conversation with her.
Dave said “I believe that God fed the 5000 with the bread and the fish cause I’ve seen mummy do some similar things” just wanted to share that as it’s a good summation of what these “Super Women” exposed us to and where they set the bar.
Side note: I find it frustrating when Lebo for an example will use a word like “present” and not define the term while speaking contrary to our understanding of the meaning. In future, the habit of defining terms within the context of a particular conversation is important
