The background is quite cool, but the Aquarium is really sad to see. No Plants, no hiding, nothing. For me personally it kinda hurts to see the fish in there.
But there's literally hiding spaces there... Small enough to accommodate the fishes

This is an amazing tank and way better than anything I could build, but as an owner of multiple tanks, just thinking about having to change that filter floss and clean out those sponges would make me cry
I agree. Quite a fair number of nice looking aquarium are severely lacking in the practical aspect. I must say that this tank is "practical" by comparison haha.

Are these paints and materials safe for fish and neutral on water parameters? Also, there are too many fish (no efficient filtration, not enough plants). Gouramis should not be kept with platy and guppy. They don't need the same water parameters. And did you cycle this tank for at least, 3 weeks before adding the fish?
It would be nice to have a deck off the stairs with little tires to buffer the boat and a little anchor on the boat.
