I've got this in liquid amber (although the piano black is gorgeous, too). It's solid - a very good snare in the mid-tier range. If you tighten the resonant head and bring the snares up too... it's a very tight and articulate drum. Lower the batter head tension, throw some dampening on the surface and it can be a deep, dry basher.
woow crisp! i'm buying a pearl session studio classic soon, buy it's a shame it doesn't come with this snare. I hope that it sounds great because i cant test it before the buy.
The Session Studio kit is well worth the money for the value an sound if you're looking for a warm,articulate type of kit! I own one myself w/out snare and love mine!

Antique Ivory is my finish a classy loud kit for sure!
The ivory colour is my favorite, but they didn't have it on stock when i bought it, the only one wast the piano black, but i do like it now haha.
haha yeah i was either a fan of the piano black or Sequoia Red finish but ended picking the Ivory!

Almost the same as a masters snare, except it has kapur and birch wood and superhoops instead of the die cast 👌
