I was wondering after you’re 3 bike comparisons whether I should have gone for the Spectral:ON. Thanks for this video, you’ve put my mind at rest. It arrives tomorrow!
Hi! great video! very interesting! i‘m looking at the spectral:on cf8 which is currently on season end sale. may i ask how tall you are and what size you are riding? i‘m 193cm (legs ~89) and im right at the edge of L and XL.. what would you recommend to go for? thanks in advance!
Its good to hear someone saying theres plenty of power in the shimano motor, i used to have a old 8000 motor and i turn the power down in turbo.i think most people are over bike.
I really like your content. Straight to the point. Im between the spectral and the neuron on. If only this one had bosch motor, this would be my pick. Im kind of worried about the Shimano service in case I have problems. I want a bike that if I have problems with the motor, at least I know it can be repaired or replaced without changing the whole bike
I still don't know whether to choose Strive ON or Spectral ON. Many people recommend Strive ON, because it's better to have more than less, and the motor does the job on climbs anyway. At first glance Spectral would be more useful to me. And I'm not even afraid of EP801, but there are opinions that the motor is so low that it's easy to hit rocks with it. Is there really such a difference compared to the location of the Bosch motor on Strive?
the bb height of spectral gives a great feeling of stablity on descents. I like Enduro so I would prefer the Strive. If you like more trail type riding and long rides then the spectral is your bike.
La vera domanda sarebbe, comprarla adesso? O attendere il nuovo modello. 2 anni sono abbastanza da supporre che ci sia qualcosa in pentola. Tuttavia non ho sentito rumors 😅
In your opinion do you think the Canyons run larger or smaller for the frame? I'm right at 5 foot 8 so I'm between the small and the medium. Which would you recommend?
I think I need to go electric Bcz I live in Florida. And these idiots think my carbon cannondale Rize 26” is outdated. I also ride a rigid carbon specialized 29r

Nice work Alex. We couldn’t agree more …the Spectral. On was our e-bike of the Year for all of those reasons.
Its standing out as a bench mark for years...
@@alexbiketesteryup, that bike is so easy to ride fast. Good value too.

I’m in the exact same predicament as you
Do you prefer spectral on or strive on? Do you have 170mm on this spectral?
spectral is a great all rounder.
This in the US comes with rockshock lyrik and deluxe on rear 160/150 on 720w battery
check the web for the model variants.
Thanks for your work sir ❤
One question, this or the Orbea Wild if you like a more comfy riding position?
This. The Orbea is a bit more aggressive.

Hi! I love how well you explain things
Its a more agile bike, the battery 900 will take you very far. It has excellent dynamic suspension. Thank you for watching.

@@hfigo il update ep801 fatto in 2023. Secondo me rimanre fino 2025. Si e bene da comprare... ottimo geometria...
hey i want to buy the canyon spectrol on cf 8 is that the newer model?? and is it good for like local bikeparks
depending on your riding skill, its a good bike, depends what kind of trails you want to do. DH pro trails no.... easier going stuff yes.
How tall are you an which size du you have? I have test the bike in M and L and with my 182cm I liked L more. canyon recommended M for me.
183cm, go for the L
First time watching great review it’s very hard to hear you well though!
thanks, I might not have used the wireless mic. Which bit of the video and whats your sound setup?
@@alexbiketester just on my phone bud I watched a few reviews on this bike but just struggled to hear yours compared to the others.
@@leavemealoam ok, i will check the sound. I might have forgotten
@@alexbiketester Great vid but watching on a desktop the audio is not clear, almost like the speakers are distorting. Cheers!
@@se11459 Thanks, yes, those lapel mic setups..... not good.... ive changed since i shot this a month ago.

@@snkedar you need to sit on one. For me the large is perfect at 6ft
I’m 5 foot 7 and the small feels good
