    This is the first time hearing Coach Prime’s vision. It’s amazing that his roadmap hasn’t been a priority at HBCU athletics in the past. It’s here now, and I am gulping the Kool Aid! All Hail Coach 🚀

      "It's amazing that his road map hasn't been a priority at HBCU athletics in the past." Why is it amazing? When God gives you a vision, He has already given you the tools to see it thru. Your tools are not just experience and Education, but the people God allowed to cross your path. If the men before Coach had a vision, it was not from God. Why? They did not have the tools to see it thru.

    Travis Hunter is one of the greatest athletes I ever seen he have an eye for the football that's on another level he's the type of athlete that can go pro after 2 years in college if that was allowed

    • @Mr..G
      @Mr..G 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Travis is certainly an exceptional football player, but I can't say that he is one of the greatest "athletes" I have ever seen. He has a lot of positives as a player, but he also has some visible weaknesses. Despite his talent, he is a freshman and there is a learning curve. In my opinion, he is not a natural press man corner. He is more of a zone coverage react to the ball player. While he may be fast, he does not have blazing speed. When receivers gain separation, he has a tendency to reach or grab in order to maintain contact. He will be called for that by already overzealous SWAC officials. For the reasons mentioned, I think he would be an excellent free safety. He would be able to face the QB and use his ball reaction skills to routinely swat or pick off passes. I think he would shine playing corner in a zone scheme as well. However, we know that at the end of the day Coach Prime and Coach Thurman are calling the shots, and they have confidence in their defensive scheme and in Travis' ability in man coverage.

    • @AcePlaya4ever

      Definitely allowed

    • @Mr..G
      @Mr..G 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AcePlaya4ever Actually, it's not allowed after 2 years. A player must be 3 years removed from high school. This means that the earliest he can enter the
      draft is his true junior year or as a redshirt sophomore. We know that he is not going to be redshirted, so he will have to wait until at least his junior year.

If Black coaches can’t get a start in college at an HBCU, God damn! To make matters worst they want to hire rich white people who have had careers. I’m talking about Fisher at TSU, Art. Briles at Grambling, & Mike Zimmer at JSU. Stay woke !

    • @Mr..G
      @Mr..G 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He doesn't just have an ankle sprain; he has a high ankle sprain. If you know anything about high ankle sprains, then you know that they can be tricky. They take longer to heal than a lower ankle sprain. They are often reoccurring. In fact, Travis had a similar injury in high school, which kept him out for half his senior season. As a two-way player, this could be a problem.

But we have to take into consideration that it’s Deion Sanders decision and from a business standpoint , I totally understand why he made he decision. No matter what profession you’re in, you have to at least be looking for better opportunities which don’t come along often but when you have a family to provide for and financial obligations, you have to consider the best available opportunities which in this case he did. The Bethune game should have stayed in a small stadium. It would have been packed and over flowing, for sure. But on national tv ( espn ), that looks better. If that big stadium draws 15,000 people, it still will look empty. It's all about marketing to the world, HBCU, LET PRIEM RUN THE SHOW, AND YOU ENJOY THE RIDE, AND PROVIDE SOME MONEY. Coach Prime knew a overflow 10,000, was more profitable than empty 15,000, full.
