    Ridden here 400 times or more. To many to remember. Yes there is no easy way to get back up to the top. Tumbleweed is prob. the best way back to top, but it's a long trail.

      Dang good to know. Tumbleweed is a long one…

    Love graham, super excited to get back there, before I do I'll try to let you know before hand see if you want to come ride at all!

      For sure man, hit me up on Strava though cuz i don’t use Instagram anymore.

    Great job doing those drops at the unsanctioned areas. They sketch me out so i dont even want to attempt.
    Also good job on that gap at the original jump line. That to me is a higher difficulty than any of the mad hatter jumps. You will get all of them. You are right there.
    To me the fastest around is to ride up blue and just hike back up red, orange or snaggle. Once you get to the back side to go back around, it takes forever man.

      @VentureMTB  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yeah that drop was actually dumb, you have to go pretty fast to catch any of the actual landing.
      I was pleasantly surprised by the gap jump at the OG spot. I didn't think I could do it, but when I rolled up to it...I was like oh that's really not bad anymore. It's just intimidating because there's no real jumps before it to gauge your speed.
      For all the places I've been so far, Graham is still somehow one of the worst places when it comes to climbing back out of only a couple hundred feet of descent. I'll have to try one of your routes next time though.

      @@VentureMTB for around here, a couple of hundred feet is the best we got so it's worth it. Also it's not horror to push back up

    Where is the rock drop at 3:12? A friend and I were riding it when we went there a few days ago and now I can't seem to find it on trailmaps anymore.

    • @VentureMTB
      @VentureMTB  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is just south of the green updraft trail. I spotted it when we were taking the white trail towards updraft and you can see it off to the right directly after the skinny I rode in the video.

      @@VentureMTB Ohh! Thank you so much. We will definitely be back to try and finish the whole line in one run.

    I am once again reaching out for advice lol that jump line at the end of the video, where is it? I haven’t been able to find that one. Feels like a lot of the good stuff at Graham is tough to find.

      @VentureMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look on Stravas maps and you will see the area that has a pretty darkly shaded section close to the Emergency access trail on Trailforks. It’s like the northeastern side of the park very close to sawmill parkway.

      its not a sanctioned area which is why it doesn'tt show up on the maps. when you find it you've earned it. @@VentureMTB

    Your take on Graham hills is perfect at the end. If you take red down, there’s no really good way to get back up to the top. Red trail is great, but my other issue is that a lot of the good stuff there is hard to find and there’s a lot of unmapped trails or disused trails on the back side of the tech side of the mountain.
    I also hate that they got rid of the blue jump line. That was right in my wheelhouse and they have basically an expert and pro line jump course, really stinks.
    Overall I think Graham hills is really good, but it’s super confusing and to be honest, I don’t know the best way to get the most of it.
    Great video as always man, hopefully post grad life is treating you well.

      Glad someone agrees haha! I always leave here kind of feeling defeated because I ended up hike-a-biking a bunch. If Graham had the infrastructure of Blue Mountain Reservation, then it would be the winning ticket for sure.
      The blue jumpline being gone is really tough. I imagine that for all the work and regulation put into that skills park they must be working on a new blue line because it seems unreasonable to claim that shady biz to mad hatter is a safe progression. The unofficial jumplines have better progressions right now!
      Thanks and I appreciate the insightful comment, I would love for more of my videos to spark more conversation like this. Furthermore, I just accepted a job offer to start in mid-July so I guess we'll see how that'll affect the video making lol!

      There’s a reason those trails are not mapped out. 1st rule of Fight Club. 🤫

    what trail is 4:40, I couldnt find it on trailforks?

    • @VentureMTB
      @VentureMTB  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is somewhere in between the Emergency Access Only and the bottom of the Red trail. It is a little tricky to find, but that is the best way I can describe it. You might be able to look on Strava's heatmaps to see where there is some concentrated traffic in that area to narrow it down more.

      @@VentureMTB thanks. i’m going right now and i may check it out. usually i just hang around in the skills park because i have a marin hard tail and i’m still not that good

    • @VentureMTB
      @VentureMTB  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh glad I could answer before ya went. I personally think the OG spot is more beginner friendly, with smoother transitions between each line as it advances. It's just that the jumps themselves are not as well manicured, but they still flow great.

    • @willymtbb
      @willymtbb ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VentureMTB thanks man appreciate the advice. i’m riding a marin pine mountain 2 and so far it’s been great. i’ve been trying to get some air on the bigger jumps, but have not built up the skill or confidence to go on the blue or black line. still on the green until i get air in the last 3 jumps. i find it hard to get speed past the berms. they are a little awkward
