New Haven is between Boston and NYC and just far enough that it remains “affordable” and has not been ruined by large scale overdevelopment. Sally’s and Pepe’s serve some of the best pizza in the country and Louie’s Lunch claims to have invented the hamburger. New Haven is rich in history with many things invented in the city. Eli Whitney lived there and is buried there. Winchester Repeating Arms made the gun that won the west there. The frisbee, the lollipop, the elevator, the electric train, the first college football game, the first steam boat, the list goes on. New Haven is the first planned city. Someday, New Haven will be recognized as a tourist destination but for now remains a nice college town with a growing bioscience industry, excellent pizza and a fairly bad crime problem. I used to go to New Haven every summer for years to see what started as the Volvo Tennis Tournament then turned into the Pilot Pen which was a really great way to see top notch, lead up to the US open tennis. Also saw a lot of concerts in the 90’s at the Coliseum. Saw the Grateful Dead there. That reminds me… Jim Morrison of the Door’s was arrested there! Nice video, thank you.
Well thanks for taking me back to my playground Yale New Haven, however you only walked around Yale when you stated you were going to walk around Downtown? One area you filmed twice, yet you missed the actual Downtown!
What a beautiful area is this??? How clean the streets are. I admire people who went to Yale, my respect to the students. When they graduate and then immediately get a great job at famous companies. How far is it from New York? Can you see the campus as a tourist?
You walked right past Toad's Place. I've seen many concerts there. You need to try the pizza in New Haven and also stop at Louis' Lunch which claims to have invented the hamburger.
Thank you for visiting my city with its beautiful architectural buildings and diverse population. Love downtown New Haven and it's restaurants. ❤

I love this school.
So Sifat you ended your tour of New Haven one block south is where New Haven was founded in 1638 and two blocks where I live on York St
Interesting!
New Haven is gorgeous, and it's only about an hour and fifteen minutes from Manhattan.
New Haven is beautiful but it is at least 2 hrs from Manhattan. 1 hr 15 mins puts you in Fairfield.
It depends on the area you are in if it’s beautiful or not.
