AGREED! I keep coming back to watch their work again & again. They have the grace, precision, and speed of Olympic gold pairs champions, but on foot rather than blades.

Meryl and Mak are ABSOLUTELY beautiful together! The most perfect dancing couple on Dancing with the Stars! Meryl's personality is beyond lovely the way she interacted with Max it was PERFECT! They look fantastic beautiful a perfect match! Body and presence and movement BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH!
I was amazed at that too! How does she not sweat with that high level of activity??? On top of the intense choreography, Maks dances with LONG and BIG strides and she must've felt like she had to fly around the dance floor to keep up with his long legs!
Maks and Meryl were magical every week. She brought things out of him, emotionally, in his choreography and their dancing. I was so happy Maks finally won the Mirrored Ball, and it was with Meryl. As he said “It was supposed to happen for me with this one” as he looked at her.

Ever since Charli was on Season 31, I have always wondered, was Charli better than Meryl, then I come to watch Meryl, and find to see, Meryl definately was best. She has better lines and footwork than some of the pros I'd say.
I love watching them dance (obviously-2 yrs later (o_o)) - great chemistry, a fun couple & one of the best partnerships (if not THE BEST). Sad that they didn't stay together after the dancing was over. On a side note, when her hair is curly she looks like Gloria Estefan - or at least to me.
Not the same since they've been apart, not the same choreography with looks and passion. I understand out of respect to their significant others, but wasn't as enjoyable to watch, and nothing even in the moves to grab our attention. Not that they didn't do quality dancing, because they both are great at that. I liked it better when she was in more colorful outfits too. Still great to see her visit. She's always had a crazy busy schedule.
Maks actually had a crisis of confidence late in this season, because he knew that they had the championship virtually locked up, and he did not want to fail Meryl.
Sadly their dance chemistry is gone. You could see it in Meryl's eyes. She looked uncomfortable dancing with him and relieved when the dance was over. He never looks at her, just straight ahead with a hard look on his face. I think she was scorned when Peta came back in the picture.
+ZScrapper Z-Scrapper Not really. Meryl has been dating her coach's son for a couple years, even during DWTS. They just kept it a secret to help with the show. It was no secret for figure skating fans the whole time.
Meryl had been dating her coaches son before DWTS, he is skater and male model Fedor Andreev. I have watched this dance several times and didn't see scorn by Maks or Meryl being glad the dance was over. You missed the fact that they were "performing" and not competing, two awesome professionals, and yes the partnership was still there..
Can't agree. The chemistry is definitely still there. If you look in past dances, he is always looking ahead or just past her specially in a tango and will only look at her when necessary, which he did several times.
Yeah, it's definitely gone. No more of what was on the season. But it makes sense wit the time off. And by this time, she was back with Fedor and he was back with Peta

They ACTUALLY DANCED, no gimmicks no Jazzy hand movements, They Both moved as a couple that OWNED THE FLOOR.

Maks is out of breath Meryl hasn't broken a sweat no hard breathing from at all. She wore Maks out keeping up with her.

Maks was actually dealing with an injury. He ended having surgery soon after this performance. He gave his all for every Maksyl dance. They both did.

He was late grabbing her arm in one spot, and didn't make great eye contact just as a dancer, but the ending didn't really fit the dance.
