In this episode, I travel in our converted Ford transit campervan, to Kmart in Victoria, Australia. I purchase an Anko portable BBQ. I show you how to put the cardboard BBQ together and what it’s like to cook on. At the end of this Kmart product review I let you know what I think about the Anko portable BBQ.
The Anko cardboard BBQ is a lightweight BBQ option for one or two people where you don’t have to worry about lighting a fire or collecting wood. Also, no cleaning is required. It’s a small easy addition you can take on our next camping trip.

I have seen these in the Kmart catalogue. My son and I were expecting it to blow up. Your Greek spread looks delicious.

No they’re perfectly fine to use, but you do have to be careful that the meat you’re cooking, fat doesn’t catch a light because then you might be in trouble. The meat did taste so much better.

I was looking forward to this. Kept seeing them on facebook but didn't think they would work. I'm impressed, could be great for a little picnic at the park with the family.

Hi Richard, glad to hear from you again! Yeah it is a great idea - not quite large enough for a family but good for a couple of people. Adam

I have to admit I was a bit sceptical like Adam but it seemed to work a treat. Will definitely give one a try and bonus is no messy bbq to clean up 👍

You could definitely cook on it for two hours throws out a lot of heat. to be honest, I don’t know if they even sell them any more but you can get something very similar at Bunnings thanks for watching

hi Howard, yeah, good question. We used the BBQ for approx 15min. 5min to heat up and 10min to cook. Deano
