This kind of xenophobia is a societal issue that has been normalized here. While such policies do not apply to Whites/Caucasians. That said, India has its own problems with Inverse Racism! I have mixed feelings about this, sadly a couple of bad apples spoil the bunch, japan received a lot of people from my country for factory labor and a few of them are loud and don't follow social norms at all and some even commit petty theft so some stores and restaurants just forbid entrance to them altogether and some neighbourhoods don't rent houses for them either. It sucks the good ones have to pay the price but in the end they're looking after their own.

I know it is just wrong to say every Korean hate Indians. But I must say from my personal experience, the majority of the Koreans I met had been racist and the rest were indifferent about me (which means not even eager to be friends). I am Australian Bangladesh (which means I have darker skin). In both school and later university every Korean I met (both born in Korea and Australia) seems to be hard to make friends with. In many cases, when I would talk with international students from Korea (especially the females), they would be more interested in my white friends then me to talk with, let alone being friends. I don't think it's India-specific. It's more about color. They seem to be really obsessed with pale skin and dark skin seems to be an allergy to them.

The biggest problem with it was (as Raj mentioned) that they mentioned specific countries' names and insulted them in turn. They could've easily told the incoming Indians that either bar was full or something politely. But the guard outside was so rude and just shooing the Indians away, that is not tolerable for any self respecting individual on the planet.
This is not first time. Everywhere Indian has faced it even in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Europe . But Indian doesn't care about it. When happens someone specifically then they understand how it feels like targeting the whole country. I have mixed feelings about this, sadly a couple of bad apples spoil the bunch, japan received a lot of people from my country for factory labor and a few of them are loud and don't follow social norms at all and some even commit petty theft so some stores and restaurants just forbid entrance to them altogether and some neighbourhoods don't rent houses for them either. It sucks the good ones have to pay the price but in the end they're looking after their own.

I know it is just wrong to say every Korean hate Indians. But I must say from my personal experience, the majority of the Koreans I met had been racist and the rest were indifferent about me (which means not even eager to be friends). I am Australian Bangladesh (which means I have darker skin). In both school and later university every Korean I met (both born in Korea and Australia) seems to be hard to make friends with. In many cases, when I would talk with international students from Korea (especially the females), they would be more interested in my white friends then me to talk with, let alone being friends. I don't think it's India-specific. It's more about color. They seem to be really obsessed with pale skin and dark skin seems to be an allergy to them.

The biggest problem with it was (as Raj mentioned) that they mentioned specific countries' names and insulted them in turn. They could've easily told the incoming Indians that either bar was full or something politely. But the guard outside was so rude and just shooing the Indians away, that is not tolerable for any self respecting individual on the planet.
