- This is the completely up to date collection of Viz Shojo and Shojo Beat series! The imprint consists of over 1500 volumes, and it took me a long time to complete every one! I’m sorry that the video cuts off very abruptly at the end, but I’m recording this on my phone, have no editing skills, and am not recording this all again soooooo….sorry! Im also sorry for the shaky camera work! Some of the books are up high or down low and my arm was getting tired 😴.

I’d be curious about your list of all SB titles - I thought I knew of all of them, but watching through this, there were definitely some series I didn’t know about.

Oh wow, what a beautiful setup! The shelves look amazing *.* I am most jealous of your Basara collection - I know how hard - almost impossible - it is to get all of them! I am missing Vol. 18-23 and it hurts :D My favourite Shoujo Beat Series is Please Save My Earth. It has been in my collection for 20 years now (the German version from a different publisher that is) and I love this story so so much. Next is definitely Basara ( :'( equally hard to get in German), then followed-up by Red River, which I was able to finish collecting two years ago.
Everyone says that Highschool Debut is great - but I am still not sure since I really don't like the look of these omnis...
Since you also have a video with shounen manga: does that mean you have a full wall like that with other demographics as well? Thank you for showing us your awesome collection, that was super neat to watch!

No, saiunkoku has an anime that goes longer than the manga!?! whelp there goes my plans. Also this is a fantastic setup! I can only hope to get there one day :) Right now I'm trying to finish some of the older series I started before getting anymore (mostly red river) but just fell in love with Crimson Hero and am so sad it is unfinished :(

I do not! I haven’t really been into games very much until recently tbh, and they’re not exactly high on my priority list.
I love shoujo and shoujo beat but saying you don’t enjoy them all is totally fair, some of the stuff they were licensing in the 2000’s and 2010’s was highly questionable in a variety of weird ways 😂 I have re-read some of the ones I liked as a teenager as an adult and been like wtf is this 😂 shoutouts to all the unnecessary incest in vampire night, someone should check Matsuri Hino’s hard drive because all their stuff is…yeah
Stuff like Special A Black Bird and another one I dont remember the name about treating a girl like a slave and shes so ugh she doesnt have a backbone to stand up for herself at all. Anyway the best shoujo manga ive read are probably the short 5 volumes ones
