I know I'm a little late to the party but let's celebrate Grandma Tsao!

Mihau! Most Cosori chefs introduce themselves. What is your name? Shishi!

The Lunar New Year sounds pretty amazing. If the whole family gets together, how do you decide which family hosts it? Thanksgiving has become a little contentious in my family, because both my daughter and I want to host.

Hi Carol! Each family has their way of choosing the location for hosting for Lunar New Year. It's usually the biggest house to fit everyone, comfortably, or sometimes they take turns by year. Hopefully you and your daughter can come to a compromise and perhaps switch off every year so you both will have a chance to host and show off your cooking!

@@CookingwithCosori Thanks for your reply. I suspect my daughter is going to win this one, because she has way more room for entertaining. But she does ask me to bring a couple of dishes, so I do get to show off my cooking.
I'm looking forward to trying these dumplings. My regular supermarket has neither dumpling wrappers nor Chinese chives, but I just learned there's an Asian market just 11 minutes from me.
Thanks for the great video and the cultural lesson.

@@carolr4871 Hi Carol! Chef Mia here, I hope you and your daughter have fun regardless of where the party will be hosted! For my family, we usually take turns and also check in with the elders to see which house they'd be willing to travel to. Sometimes my aunts and mom also play rock paper scissors to hash it out 😆Please let us know how your holiday goes!! Happy New Year!

How do you use the frozen dumplings?

Hi Chuck! Our recipe page will have the full instructions including how to cook potstickers from frozen! But for a quick read, for the frozen dumplings, spray the tops and bottoms of the dumplings with oil spray and cook at 380F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. I recommend preheating the air fryer to 380F prior to cooking! Hope this helps! Have a great weekend! - Chef Mia

Can I air fry the potstickers without boil it?

Hi Sharon! Yes you can! Spray the wrapped dumplings with oil spray and air fry at 380F for about 12 - 15 minutes. At the 12 minute mark, carefully remove one potsticker and cut it open to make sure the pork and shrimp are fully cooked. If not, cook for another 3 minutes! Hope this helps!
