I was prepared for her to die but I wasn't prepared for the way she loved and trusted wwx. She is one of the character that I come to respect and aspire to be. I hope we all can learn to trust and love unconditionally like her and may that trust and love never hurt us back.
She was the only mom figure he ever had, and she looked at him as someone that needed a lot of guidance; someone that needed a parent figure because the boy has barely any recollection of his own biological parents. We could even learn from the romantic love between him and Lan Zhan, Wangji never gave up on him too and did whatever he could to protect him in the past and in the present.
The first time you watch the series this melody is wonderful, heart-filling, and happy... The second time it's just a floating melody that seems to be an illusion of the past it once was...
Out of all the songs in CQL, this one made me cry the most. Actually, this is the first time I cried over a song. The melody is sad, the lyrics is also sad. Most importantly, it has a meaning to it but I still cried even tho I will never relate to it at all….the storyline and the songs just fit so well I can’t- 🥲😭
Why I see the drama so perfect??? It perfect even there's a lot of scene change from the novel but it always appear all in all perfect..for me this is not a BL drama. It is more like showing pure love from one person to another.. no malice, pure of love. It is really a masterpiece.

Okay heard this for the first time today and it made me cry ugly. The Yunmeng Siblings deserve so much better. I am watching this after watching this drama a few months ago and this gave me such a nostalgia that it actually hurts to remember what they went through all over again.
Agree, I don't think he went put of control, some circumstances and events were not in his control. He was always staying on the righteous path, just in a different way. This is a very deep drama with multiple levels in each relationship. Loyalty, honor, respect, commitment, sacrifice, sorrow, pain and love arel all demonstrated. Even in the worst if times the siblings loved each other. I could say much more but I'll make it simple and sat A+ for this drama
