No, you do not require to cross the road from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 or vise versa.
It's like a same building, just different entries and exits.

If you do not pass by the immigration gates, you don’t require any kind of visa.
But incase if it’s a self transfer and you require to pass by immigration counters than you will need a transfer visa. But my knowledge is limited, the best is to check with your airline.

@@gurjotsingh7904 thank you so much for your reply....as I was really stressed out for my flight....as I have booked it via ITA airways...as i don't know why it is written terminal 1 on my ticket from rome to toronto.....as i believe mostly international flights goes from terminal 3 from rome to toronto....so is it just for check in purpose? and should i just go to terminal 3 (E gates) instead of terminal 1 if i do online check in?

I’m happy Alex that my video was helpful to you, I used airport lounge with my Master card subscription (Dragon Pass) so It was complementary for me.
I guess the normal charges for the lounge are 40 -50 $ but I’m not sure about the charges because I didn’t pay.

Hi Murad, you will need either Schengen visa or Italy visa to be able to enter the Italy.

If you have Schengen visa, you can enter Italy during your transit.
Also, if you have Schengen visa than you are free to enter any country directly which comes under Schengen states but since I am not aware about your visa category and your purpose of travel so the best is to check with your airline.

So if you travel between Schengen countries, you don’t require to go through immigration gates. Flying from Athens to Rome and Rome to Athens, you will not need to pass by immigration counters. All you need to show is your flight ticket and your passport to airline counters.
However, to fly to London and to fly from London you’ll need to pass by immigration counters. Because England doesn’t fall in Schengen state.

How lond did it take you to go from t3 to t1 ?
Hallo, T3 is just besides T1.
Both are connected, but you need to step out from T3 and walk towards your left hand (when facing outside) and you’ll find T1 entrance.
It’s just 1-2 mins walk.

hy brother i am an indian passport holder and i have an round trip like my second flight from delhi to toronto on 14th may 2024 and my flight from delhi lands on terminal 3 and next flight will from terminal 1 or vice versa i think but i have to change the terminals i am sure so do i require any transit visa for that if yes like whats the process for that. please help. Hi Rania, usually you require transit visa but since I am not aware about the cat of your UK visa so the best place to check would be your airline. You can call your airline and they will guide you the best.

Hi Singh, yes if you are going to another terminal or leaving the terminal 1 than you will have to go through the immigration counters.
For flights from Terminal 1 there are no immigration controls as only domestic flights or flights to Schengen destinations depart from this terminal
