FINISHING Mallards and DIY Blind | Colorado Public Land Duck Hunting

Just a couple of young guys getting out there and learning! Upon arriving, we started to build a makeshift blind out of tree limbs and sticks to give us cover. It worked out great because it blended us right in with the tall shrubs next to us. During the hunt we noticed and learned we set up to many decoys causing the birds to land further then we expected and into the big river. There were a few calls we should have made we probably would have dropped more but we wanted them feet down, locked in! This is Avery’s first year of hunting and she is doing phenomenal on the retrieves.
