Gosu General tries out the newest hero in Mobile Legends named Novaria, an OP Mage sniper with both burst damage and excellent support skills. He was able to make great use of her long-ranged attacks with his insane damage build. Though the enemy team gained the upper hand early on in the game, Gen’s team quickly overcame them and took out most of their towers. Novaria was able to make plenty of kills during the match and help support the team very well. In the end, Gen’s team wins with him dealing 26% of the damage, which is not bad for a test run of the new hero.

I kept underestimating this mage at the start but when a good aimer used it against me,she kept oneshotting the mm and mage with flameshot way out of sight and gave me the toughest 38 min match this season

Novaria fits for a roamer than Mid lane to be honest.
Edit: Her 2nd can check the bushes and Ult gives vision. She is suppose to be Support/Mage and do the Roamer role.
I thought that too, her ult and skill 2's first phase deals no dmg, but she can easily open the map and her ult allows those with aimed skills to more reliably hit their targets

Yup I like using her with roam especially with her movement speed I like to go around ganking lanes than clearing minions in mid. Plus with direhit she can deal better dmg. Although her 1st skill can only dmg in late game
She can mid fine just need a decent team, her vision is very troublesome late game and she hits like a truck. Nightmare for squashy heroes. She can do all this while keeping a safe distance from getting instantly bursted.

Aiming really isn't that hard considering her huge dmg for being just a poke support type mage
@@AmirBrooks yeah it's acceptable. A lot of the time it look like it hits but it doesn't. Just slightly to the side. I guess that's part of the reason why her ult provide bigger hitbox.
Novaria is exactly like a sniper. The enemy will always outnumber you. Your strength, is you outranging them. She is often far away from team fight but will give support fire. I really like her playstyle because I can stay safe while still contribute to the fight.
She will be another character i play a lot, currently i use skillshot users like selrna and franco so she fits very well

Came in a heartbeat! It's been a whileeee since I started playing but I came back since my friend was sad playing without me, glad to be watching these vids again!
She is good for 5 man rank games but not for solos. you need a good frontline a solid one to protect her cozz she is super squishy despite her agility she can easily be bursted down

I only play solo and kept winning most of the time using Novaria in Classics and RG. If you play as Novaria, Whether you have a solid front line or not, what's important is you keep proper positioning and the most important part, identify possible threats.
I like Novaria becuz of her skill passing through walls and her 2nd skill is great for checking bush.
The thing is that if the team is losing, she can’t changed the outcome of the battle and carry like other heroes

You can also use her second ability to see enemies out of range. Just shoot it infront of you and the enemies will show up at the map. Does not need to hit enemies

Is a really good mage, for deal more damage u need to gain stats with her 2nd skill, faster u move more stats u get, that’s why she can pass trough walls cause she gain movement speed every time she pass trough a wall or tower and the CD is really good
Ult first if available before 2nd skill for wider range of sniper and more damage
She's balanced yet op with FS you just need to be good at aiming plus her vision can annoy enemies it limits their ambush capabilities
It would be cool if this mages ult puts a ring on each enemy and connect them like constallations and when she use 2nd skill it will hit everyone

out of my 25 matches i onpy lost 2 games u can cast skill 1 while in first state of your second skill
also it give you more movement speed while in first state of your second skill inside the wall

Tank Lancelot jungler is stronger than old build? I've just come back to play again after retired since season 23. I see many junglers love building tank items. I know more HP deals more true damage for junglers, but how about facing enemy heroes? Because he deals less damage and cant assault squishy heroes like a true assassin.

Gen you need to throw second skill behind you and go away so you can increase damage...it's the same concept like flameshot . The further The target, The higher the damage...
This is partially correct. There is a way of dealing maximum damage before the end of the skill.
The longer the projectiles travels the more damage it deals. The travelling distancing starts counting even while casting, so always try to cast 2nd behind you while you move in the opposite direction and whenever possible, try to go through obstacles in the process as this increases novaria's movement speed so that way you can have about 5 stacks before even firing the projectile.

her kit feels leaning toward as an offensive support than a pure mage, i think dire hit will do.

Can we talk about the fact that she doesnt actually have a passive? Her passive is the skill 1 description. Why have a passive if it is just how your skill 1 works....i think they could give her a simple makeover that would really elevate her mage gameplay like marking and stunning enemies. Her slow isnt enough to keep enemies in her 1 for both phases. If they made it so you could stun the enemies, you could land more consistent damage. I also think her damage on her 2 should scale based on how far the astral ball traveled to get to her and the enemy...so if you cast it, flickered away and then used the movement buff, it gives more damage as oppoaed to being based off of just distance from you to enemy. As a sniper mage, she really should be able to one shot a mage or mm without any magic defense items and right now she cannot. I agree with everyone who says she is a support role...and please, moonton, GIVE HER A UNIQUE PASSIVE
as a selena Xavier main who player her alot, I can say she is not as strong as the other snipers, Xavier and Selena can both sort of keep comming with attacks, while imo Novaria has a struggle with starting or finishing a person, she can only do 3 things and thats or lower the hp or finish kill/ killsteal ^^'. I would say give her second or skill a stunne or something, also the first ult that did dmg 2 looks better to me for just more dmg. Also sometimes it seems like her second skill will hitt but then it slightly misses, but to me that seems like just more practice to do that well. if they would want to buff this without making it bigger hittbox, remove the line the enemy can see when she shoots
I have mainly found sucess if I build full dmg/PEN and Dire hitt roam boots.
Also usefull combo, go in speed mode with second skill, ult and instandly shoot, the ult does slow down so it gives much more chance of hitting
True..she needs a stun. Also She is so vulnerable once her 2nd skill on cooldown.
Xavier is a lot better in defending hordes of minions and against lord imo, i have the hard time in playing novaria when we are losing or defending
Try the pass behind the boundary play . Exp and gold lane hiding . Snipe behind the boundary , move back and forth from friendly to hostile tower . Out of reach hiding space .

Novaria is like a scout ranger from the army. She harasses, she scouts, and she hunts. You can harass enemy mages and marksman. Up to the point that before the clash starts. The marksman and mages have retreated already or are afraid to commit already cause their remaining hp is less than 30 percent already. She scouts. Basically all of her skills can be used to check the grass or an area a bit farther from her if there are enemies. And in a clash. Assassins and mages can use her ultimate's mark to track their target and plan an attack. And of course she hunts. Its true that her damage is not that powerful. But she can hit an enemy multiple times without them having the chance to retaliate. if an enemy failed to run, hide, or dodge properly. They will die soon. Of course they can just run, hide, and dodge. But then the enemy mages will be too busy trying to stay alive to actually do their job. As for those nearly dead. You can easily finish them with a one sniper shot that they didn't even know where it came from.
Had a bad time with her couple of games ago. She's just annoying and always runs away when her health is low. We didn't had any agile hero as well to chase her so it helped her all the more. Good seeing Gen saying " We lost " And winning each time 😝🤣🤣🤣👍🏻 G4

1st her stack should be 10 and 2nd longer she is aways from the more her damage. Thats what makes her balanced. She cannot burst close range.

I think Novaria is pretty decent, but I think its not her damage or mobility that was op. It was her ult, but her ult should be utilized very well in order for her ult to have full potential

Novaria is a balance for me, cause her damage output is big and easy to rotate but she is very weak vs melee hero even it's alucard.
That's why if you're playing as Novaria, you should identify possible threats. Maximize your range advantage. All her skills gives you vision. She's one of the safest mage to play.
Don't use burst build on her. Use ET + Ice wand build

i hate novaria as a mage in my team if I'm core. she doesn't have damage early game or any stuns, she doesn't do anything early need to wait for mid game, if you can hang on in the early to mid game, then she will be super useful by then.

I think she needs a buff, she has no damage and has a lot of lag when doing her 2nd skill. Enemy can easily kill you. Her ultimate don't scare me. Aldous is honestly a better pick, he can see the Map and kill you fast 💯 she needs a buff asap

Been trying to figure out what build and role fits her.
She is really more into supp. I have tried many burst type games with her but she can't really "burst" the enemy. Poke, Yes. Burst. Nahh.
Tho she is the best to use for KS 😂😂😂😂
