a Roman wars cod game right now would show the industry that CoD still isnt afraid to take risks, it definitely would break up the monotony theyve become, if they arent willing to go that far the standalone zombies experience would make almost every fan happy, and even if THAT is too far, the Vietnam game could easily be realized because as of today the only thing close weve gotten to that was a couple missions in Bo1-Bo2 and Cold War.
would be cool if they showcase some of their old ideas for the games in they're campaigns old rowan style mission a nudge to when they were going to make a Roman game
I mean the idea of CoD being a card or board/tabletop game sounds extremely silly to me but I give respect that they tried something different with the franchise. There was no way it was going to be successful as D&D or similar games. I mean you could adapt CoD into a D&D style game but it would take a lot of time and resources to get right and I doubt it would ever be that successful.
I would have love that Infinite Warfare were Ghosts 2, because everybody was tired of futuristic games by that time and that could have been an absolute blast... That was the CoD needed in 2016...

This is the only COD game I would buy ever again, since I dont care for PVP multiplayer in COD, I would pay full price for it and buy every DLC ever released until the end of time, I would dedicate an entire 4 TB drive just to zombies and I would never have to bother caring about the main games again
This is how I know we aren't in the best timeline
A Vietnam based cod would be lit.
Ngl, the Devil’s Brigade and Ghosts 2 could’ve been great games had they actually come out.
Ghosts gets a lot of hate for the rushed nature of its development & release, but imo it planted seeds for a potentially amazing sequel Campaign + Extinction is slowly winning people over (not me but others) during the past 11 years, so for it to be ignored for Infinite Warfare was just the worst possible decision…even if IW had its bright spots
Would be cool if you put your sources in the description
Video starts at 3:00
The quality of the editing!
What song plays at 4:10?
I’m going crazy cus I know I’ve heard it before
I was always hoping GMVMERS would do a Call of Duty documentary.
Been trying to remember the name of general chaos for more than 20 years.
Thank you
Hahaha having worked at bee ox on the Call of duty franchise for a while, there is soooo much more cancelled Cod prototype and idea than just these hahaha! I even remember the studio launching an open competition for teams to develop their own vision of a cod game or mechanic! Still, I learned about a few that I wasn’t aware of :) thanks for the video as always :)
Ghosts 2 and Advanced Warfare 2 would have looked like this in the cancelled COD games.
Looked like what? This comment makes no sense.
Can you specify "this"?
@@JB2FROSTY😂
@@otakuConn😂 am I wrong? It's like "these cancelled cod games would be cancelled games of cod like these cancelled cod games" and bro got 30 likes so I am LoSt
Advanced Warfare 2 is what we waiting still, while Ghosts is needed to be forgotten
Call of duty is the best at disappointing
Not back in the day. It was awesome. Now it is a disappointment. Ill never buy one of the newer games.
We have you to thank for that, you constantly bought cod points and every game at release.
@@Assassino275 lol I hope you're talking about the other person. Have never soeant money outside of buying the game. Havent bought one in a very long time. New cod sucks.
3:43 _Waltuh, put ya controller away Waltuh_
_I'm not playing cod with you right now_
You missed what would go on to become Titanfall 1. Remember this was in an early Alpha stage before Activision fired the dev team.
They turned it into Titanfall instead of a Future Warfare COD game.
There's nothing online about Titanfall being originally developed as a Call of Duty game. It's a game that was developed by ex infinity ward employees after contract disputes.
Titanfall was being made long after the COD mw2 devs left in 2011
Great video, as always!
I wish there was more info on canned Battlefield games
We know about the cops game by DICE (no images)
A game by DICE LA that got canned and forced DICE to make BF5 faster (maybe some images?)
Hardline 2
And i guess other things
Roman Wars would've been an interesting game 😬💯😳
Thank you guys on the patreon for continuing to support the channel so that someone like me who can only afford to subscribe to enjoy these videos, again thank you
you guys inspire me so much Im gonna start uploading on my own channel
This man’s voice heals my soul ❤
a Roman wars cod game right now would show the industry that CoD still isnt afraid to take risks, it definitely would break up the monotony theyve become, if they arent willing to go that far the standalone zombies experience would make almost every fan happy, and even if THAT is too far, the Vietnam game could easily be realized because as of today the only thing close weve gotten to that was a couple missions in Bo1-Bo2 and Cold War.
"All The Call of Duty Games You'll Never Play" In my case that would be every single title in the franchise.
Press 9 to give Kevin Spacey his vindication.
I didn't even think that a "successful" game franchise could have so many lost battles
Hard to imagine Activision ever comprehending, or using the words: "over saturated," again 😒
"Rhythm games are oversaturated... Lets make a Call Of Duty game!"- Neversoft.
I remember hearing about cod Rome around the time that the mw trilogy had ended. Definitely a neat idea, but it wouldn't have been a cod game.
I'm calling it that this video hits 1,000,000+ views.
A call of duty in Roman times sounds amazing tbh
6:38 as a vehicle sim player and something of a history buff...i'm still wondering..what is this?!😂😊
Looks like M44 self-propelled howitzer or something in that family
Actually, looking at the chassis shape and barrel length, might be the M12 instead
Damn, that 3rd person stealth cod would have been nice.
would be cool if they showcase some of their old ideas for the games in they're campaigns old rowan style mission a nudge to when they were going to make a Roman game
Mafia series breakdown and history!
Whats the song name that starts in 0:33? Sounds awfully familiar
I think it’s from the Incredible Hulk that’s why it sounds so familiar
Thats the theme they used for the MW19 reveal trailer
Sounds like the Marvel sound
That’s from Modern Warfare 2019 reveal trailer
6:11 German infantry hoping out of a panzer as if it's an APC
(shakes head in dismay)
I mean the idea of CoD being a card or board/tabletop game sounds extremely silly to me but I give respect that they tried something different with the franchise. There was no way it was going to be successful as D&D or similar games. I mean you could adapt CoD into a D&D style game but it would take a lot of time and resources to get right and I doubt it would ever be that successful.
The world wasn’t ready for Ghost 2
I would have love that Infinite Warfare were Ghosts 2, because everybody was tired of futuristic games by that time and that could have been an absolute blast... That was the CoD needed in 2016...
