SOMEWHAT QUICK READ/BACKGROUND TO THE COVER
so, it has only been a few days since this beast of a song dropped, but I HAD TO cover or remix this song whatever you would wanna label it. i usually would want to cover the vocals as well, but 1, it really doesnt need that, her voice is so aggressive/expressive, that it just fits! SASUGA 2, my vocals and energy havent been what theyve needed to be to take on this beast. thus, having to take on a unique experience of removing the vocal track from the song itself
though, i dont get to watch hololive streams like i used to, muchless Bae's, i do try to keep up with the talents as much as i can. twitter, clips, special occasion streams, and etc. but i think i went down the holorabbit hole back in like i think when 4th gen of the JP branch debuted and just started to get to collab with the senpai and all that good stuff i think that was being implemented that time still, idk, me big dumb
i got sucked in when i came across a clip series of pekora creating a tnt canon[s] and blew up that pillager tower to absolute oblivion. seeing this chaotic unhinged vtuber do something this bonkers really had me in a chokehold and from there, down the hole i dove
now, i didnt think id resonate this well with Bae when she first debuted with HoloEn's 2nd gen, but recently, idk if its just me, but i think shes let loose a lil bit and little by little from her initial character and i was able to really become a fan of hers
she seems like a really sweet, down to earth individual and well, she has my full support! her cousin Hayko is really dope too btw just saying
but yeah, this remix was a very experimental/a trial run of my new gained knowledge and equipment to mixing and i gotta say, i think this went very well. hopefully the render to the video justifies what i mean. and not to mention, i FINALLY got to let my creativity loose in regards to my craft- EXTREME METAL. i had realized the other day that i never got to really put my true take of a metal cover out there, so i tried not to limit myself on this project though money and my poor laptop might lol but i think you get it
someday, i would like to do music like this for a living, if not creations of my own, then help improve others by mixing their stuff! but only time will tell, but i will try my best to make that happen

THIS IS GOOD, but some notes are a miss from the local and quite noticeable, also if you can improve the sound mixing and dynamically adjust the loudness balance of the vocal i think this would be the best shit i've ever heard

i COMPLETELY agree with you on the vocal dynamics, unfortunately, it has to be sacrificed since i’m using an old laptop that is not meant for recording music in general lmao. honestly, i was lucky i was able to convert this into a sound at all :,)
