Didnt saw the movie but your Work is 🤌 really Incredible the interaction between the Apes and the Guy is incredible the Muscle system and movement of the skin blows me away
That’s just industry standard and how it’s done today. Pretty basic stuff shown in this video. No complex new simulation. Even the apes hairless so no fur sim. There are people doing things like that in blender in really short amounts of time
@@saschaherrmann1665 It's the remaining 1% that requires all of this work. The quality is a lot better than you're giving credit for. The apes do have groom. Admit it looks incredible!
@@cineturondude, saw a couple of videos on your channel 😂😂 you're an amateur with the talent of a toddler, yet i see you here acting like a pro or something! You're an embarrassment.
How good it is that cinema is finally returning to the good old 90s in terms of special effects! I thought this day would never come. Now we can watch films with exciting special effects from the Indian school of the last century + enjoy diversity and non-binarity 😍
Agreed, there's something about each shot before it gets colour graded that makes it look better. Same with the Rhino, each last but one step looked more realistic than the end result
If you're dumb that's nobody's fault, he never claimed such thing about this, they built half facade of the colosseum, palace, senate, numidia etc for real, i mean is there even someone who does that nowadays?! Short answer: NOPE.
Lil bro go watch some teletubbies instead of crying like a hater in here 😂 😂 bunch of tiktokers judging a colossal like this, now ive really seen it all. Pppfffttt
You guys (and Ridley) should be jailed for them space-monkeys masquerading as baboons. Reminds me of medieval paintings of horses painted by people who have never seen a horse. None of these effects, or the movie itself looked good on the big screen. Probably Ridley is to blame, since he seem to works so fast, to try to outrun the Reaper, nowadays.
STUNNING production, the visuals of this movie are simply staggering!!! Congratulations to everyone involved.
People were waaaaay too harsh on this movie’s CGI. It looked actually really good for a 2024 motion picture.
What is that suppose to mean. this is either a comment from the future or tryin to dog on modern cgi... I cant tell which
Christ! Framestore and Weta digital give me sleepless nights😀😀
I may hated this movie, but dang! I didn't know that they were using VFX the whole time! This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just want to give a shout out to whatever artist painted out and completely reconstructed the actors arm at 1:51. Insane.
Indian crew
I think it might be a CG hand
Sir Ridley Scott: 'No CGI were used in this breakdown '

Question...the guy riding the rhino was he just standing behind a green screen the entire time or was he riding something in those scenes?
Freeze it at 1:07 - you can see he is riding a model Rhino on wheels!
@@KainedbutAble123 thank you I was looking for this answer too
@@KainedbutAble123 Thank you! I missed that
Why even take an actor for this short sequence not and just full cg?!
Yeah I also think he was fully cg@@saschaherrmann1665
Plate cleaners and roto matchers doing AAA work. Congrats.
Epic
Which muscle simulation system was used in this movie?
This should be in 4K thought! Thanks for sharing.
Gladiator 1 story rich, Gladiator 2 visual effect rich
Now I kinda want to watch this movie.
Believe it’s not worth it
@ I will believe when I’ve watched it, don’t worry.
If you can watch it on a big screen, some of the scenes really pop.
@@swakyaby3339 visually it’s a good movie. But the rest? Oh boi
2:16 opening kill from No Country for Old Men
That final color grading and contrast change absolutely RUINED each shot realism
Some of the most incredible CG animal work I've ever seen.
Are you serious?
@@captainronlives YES!
You haven't seen much in the way of good animal CG work then.
You need to watch more than a movie a year , than.

Same scenes are in the ILM showcase 🤔
It's a tough assignment

Please upload RRR VFX breakdown.
The baboon looks more realistic in the shot at 1:40 as opposed to the final shot.

sorry for you to this THIS baboons 😞
You guys put in so much blood, sweat, and tears to make the movies what they are, and then Ridley Scott goes and claims it was aLl In CaMeRa.

it look more real before they grading the color
same
People don't know when to relax with the effects and call it a day.
piss filter had to be applied 😔
that reference baboon has two tails
😂😂😂
According to Ridley Scott, no fx were used in the production 😂😂😂
Basically an animation movie
An animation movie in which only the rhino is animated?! You have no clue what you're talking about lmao
@@cinematography513 The bro probably didn't see the film yet
@@albertopellegrino1695 i've seen it the day it released, but pretty sure you've watched it from youtube clips 😂 go sleep bruh
Showing how they actually filmed this is quite depressing.

Monkeys and sharks were embarrassing, especially for a movie with 250+ mln budget after massive tax breaks. Rhino was alright.

Worst monkeys ever.
The baboon scene was completely over the top, I did not enjoy it.
