I got it sorted, this is a great unit. Earl & the team at Furuno NZ have assisted me. I did a reset & cleared the set up & started from scratch.
Hi Matt,
Thank you for putting up this video.
I have just bought a new Stabicraft 2050 with the DB9 installed. It has the P66 transducer fitted. Its just not set up correctly. we were in 3m of water & we had 21.3m showing. I Zero set the unit then told it the P66 is fitted. now it reads depth correctly. is there anyone you could recommend to help me please?
What's the biggest transducer you can run of these? Currently looking at a nss9 evo3 with tm275 which complete will be about 5.5k soo looking into other options would you know the difference in performance between these two?
Hey Matt I see your running the tm260 in the below comments. Have you tried the tm185 chirp on it? Or is the traditional 50/200 the way to go?
I'd like to ask you what's the best comparison of furuno 1971f versus garmin 923xsv,
i have one but the screen delaminated and its got moisture under it stopped working was devastated
I’d love to see a sounder record time, tide and species and a touch of a button
Hi Matt what transducer are you running with this setup? Also is the db9 the same as a gp1971f?
Yes the DB9 is the same as the GP1971F. We are currently running a TM260
Is the tm 260 a good all-rounder? or are there other good combos of transducers that would work well with this unit
So not chirp compatible if it’s a tm260 not a tm265?
first
